Aqua Villa 103, AV103 (1st floor, sleeps 8 maximum) 903 sqft Pets allowed Sleeps 9; 8 allowed due to local fire codes. FREE BEACH SERVICE (two chairs and an umbrella setup) March though October. 2BR/2BA Gulf front, ground floor with easy access to pool and beach, Hi-speed internet/WiFi, tile throughout. This lovely two Bedroom condo with WiFi, directly on the beach, is located on Okaloosa Island, which is between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. It is the best vacation destination for the family, golfer, shopper or fisherman. There are no high rises in sight, as nothing over 7 stories is allowed on Okaloosa. Because this building has a mere 24 units, and plenty of waterfront, the white beaches and the teal Gulf waters are never crowded, making it simply paradise! Many people say that these are the most beautiful beaches that they have ever seen. Television, surveys and magazines rate the Emerald Coast among the top ten in the world for its beautifully colored waters and sand as white as snow. You can relax with your morning coffee or a romantic dinner on the pool deck just outside your door, and watch the dolphins jumping less than 100 yards away! Free area trolley in season Bedding: Beachside BR-King/Back BR-Queen, Twin over Double bunkbed/Living room-Queen pullout \- We rent Saturday to Saturday in the spring and summer, when we have 6 night minimums. \- A limited supply of towels, bed sheets, soap, toilet paper, and pillows are provided \- Must submit Driver's license and rental agreement to manager within 24 hours of booking. \- Extra $10/night + tax per guest of any age over 6 guests (of any age, $10.55 on vrbo) will be collected. \- Must pay additional fee if bringing pets ($10/ni + tax per pet,$10.55 on vrbo). 4 max. \- Smoking allowed outside in marked location only. \- Guests must take out all trash and wash all dishes (or leave in running dishwasher) prior to checkout. \*Guest must submit a $250 off-platform security hold that will be collected upon signing rental agreement but it will not be placed until 12 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no damages are reported. Please note we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits. \- Must be at least 18 to rent. If under 25, and additional $1000 damage deposit will be required. \- A second cleaning fee will be collected after booking for stays over 2 weeks, and for checkouts on Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. \- Building, resort, HOA and/or COA amenities are not guaranteed to be open during your stay. \- Check-in time is after 6:00 P.M. local time. Sample pet agreement: Pet Policy and Pet Agreement Aqua Villa Condominium We will permit renters to bring dogs to our unit, provided that the following Aqua Villa Rules and Regulations are strictly observed. There are owners living here that want desperately to ban pets forever, so please follow these rules, so they don’t have any more reason to force this to happen. PROHIBITED BREEDS: Chow Chow, German Shepard, Pit Bull (or mix), Presa Canarios, Rottweiler. No pet is allowed to defecate or urinate on any portion of the lawn or other common areas of the condominium property, even if the contamination is subsequently removed. Renters and owners must take pets off the Aqua Villa property for the pets to relieve themselves. A cleanup bag and cleaning materials must be used to pick up all waste and the bag disposed of properly in the Aqua Villa trash dumpster on the northeast edge of the property. Pets left alone in the condo unit while the pet owners are away must be quiet. Incessant barking in a unit is disturbing to all guests. If your dog is expected to bark while you are away, we suggest you kennel your dog in the back bedroom where there is less visible activity to excite your dog, or muzzle it. Pets must be current on rabies shots, and flea/tick medications. Local ordinances and condominium rules that prohibit dogs on the beach, in the pool, on the pool deck, in the elevator and on the parking lot must be observed. The beach rules are enforced by local authorities and hefty fines are imposed if pets are found on the beach. Try dog-friendly Liza Jackson Park on the bay, 388 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, Ft. Walton Beach. Pets are allowed on the Association common areas only while they are being escorted to or from a condo unit. At this time they must be under positive control, either on a leash or hand held. They are NOT allowed in or around the pool. They are NOT allowed in the elevator, unless CARRIED by their handler. Pet owners carry the full responsibility for the behavior of their pets, and may be fined for violations. Pets may be removed from the premises if the pet owner is advised by the condo unit owner, the Association manager and/or the Board of Directors that their pet is: a. In violations of the pet rules b. Annoying in any way to other guests including barking within the unit c. Threatening to other guests or residents We have made minor changes in these rules to accommodate our particular circumstances. Love that it was on the first floor, close to the pool, and a short walk to the beach. Not an ocean view from the room but I’d rather a ground floor than ocean view personally. Also there was a cute sitting area close the pool that we could drink our coffee and watch the waves. Only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the washer and dryer wasn’t in the room it’s on the second floor and you have to pay to use it. This was not a deal breaker for me though. The only issue i had was there was no lighting in the grill area and no one to enforce the rules of the pool. The rules say swimming from 9am til dusk and there were a bunch of very loud kids swimming at 7:30 in the dark and we couldnt enjoy a peaceful evening sitting at the tables by the pool. We tried to call Sky Ventures but they won’t take calls. Text them and you might hear back sometime that day. They basically did nothing! We had no TV or internet most of the stay but, if we wanted it at all WE had sit and wait for the cable guy. There went half of a day. When i ask for any compensation, they texted and basically said not their problem and they don’t cover that. Funny, it said in there add TV and Internet included, and nothing in what we signed said otherwise. So for us we would NEVER rent from Sky Ventures Vacation Properties again. If they won’t take a phone call or do any customer service DON’T USE THEM! #SkyVenturesSucks. #Don’tUseSkyVentureVacationProperties ##### terry b. Property was visually clean and layout of condo was nice but 2days into vacation notice 3 roaches at 3 different areas in condo and we reported the problem to property manager and she was very attentive to our issue and got exterminator to come and address issue and after he treated the affected areas there were definitely more that 3\. He said that they (roaches) should calm down in a couple hours.This was very disturbing. Three different families were involved with this issue. Maybe exterminating needs to be done more often. Very fearful that I may have brought some of the uninvited guest home with me. I guess I was hoping to have a relaxing vacation without worrying about such problems. Others that live or were visiting there were extremely nice. It is a small condo building and quiet. This unit (AV103) had the most pots/pans, utensils, etc. that we have every had in any of our vacation stays. The unit is very well kept and beautiful. Steps from the pool and steps to your vehicle. The location was wonderful and the place was very clean and well taken care of. We had a minor mishap with the bathroom a couple of days in, but the property manager was quick to respond and have the issue resolved within 24 hours. Bugs started to come out, hope I don't bring them home. Will never rent again sight unseen, this Sky Ventures was involved and what a nightmare working with them. I rented from VRBO so why were they involved-third party? Found out the code to the condo 8 hours before we were ready to leave for trip not knowing if we were going to get it or not. But no problem with them talking the money out of my credit account immediately. Will never again rent thru VRBO and this Sky Ventures co. on the computer and phone for over 4 hrs.
