The private patio of Islander Beach Resort, unit 2012 offers beautiful ocean views (Gulf of Mexico) as well as privacy. Islander Beach Resort, unit 2012 comes complete with 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, 21/2 baths, living and dining area, pullout sleeper sofa, Cable TV, WiFi, and much more. Unit 2012 is located on the west side of Islander Beach, on the second level with a direct view of the ocean. All units come with parking, beach service, and full-resort access. Though Destin and its many attractions are only a short drive away, this stretch of Powder White Beach is much more Private. You will enjoy your space in the sand without all of the crowds and noise. This is a 'NO SMOKING' unit which will sleep 8 people. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed, a Second Bedroom with a Queen Bed, and there is also a third room with Twin Beds. The balcony was great especially for our 2 year old. She had plenty of room to play while we were enjoying the beautiful ocean views. Something that I did like about there that the 1st floor of rooms was the second floor. May 29, 2019 #### Islander Beach Resort Unit 2012 My husband and I along with my daughter, son-in-law, and there 3 boys stayed a week at Unit 2012 at Islander Beach Resort May 7-13\. We enjoyed our stay. It was right on the beach with an absolutely beautiful view. The condo was large and very nice. We enjoyed our week there. It was very close to the pool and the walkway to the beach, which was great. My only complaint is the kitchen utensils were a little lacking. We had to go out and purchase a few items to be able to prepare our meals. The blender didn’t work, there was not a peeler in the unit, the corkscrew was very difficult to use, there wasn’t a muffin pan, and the vegetable shredder was very flimsy and was difficult to use. The sofa was a very pretty piece of furniture, but was very hard to sit on as the seat part slanted down and the back was very uncomfortable, so we ended up sitting in the floor instead of on the sofa. There were two very comfortable recliners that were great. Overall the unit was great and we would rent it again. ##### Carole N. Would have given The Islander an "excellent review" but the staff could have been friendlier. The balcony furniture was nice, but the seating was low, only negative. Higher seating would allow a much better view of the beach. Pool was large with 2 shallow ends and well taken care of. During our visit they were building new beach access which wasn't a problem since the public beach access was right next door and easy access. The location is perfect, very close to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The balcony was my stop to hang out at night, just listening to the waves. Quiet neighbors at night was a plus. I give 10 stars to the cleaning crew, the unit was extremely clean and everything was exactly as stated on the description.
