Some of the lights were burnt out like in the master bathroom shower. A lot of the outlets did not work and if they did they were super loose and the plug would fall out. The washer sounds terrible when running and dryer did not dry towels very well (had to run them like 3 times even with small load) balcony floor was very rusty/dirty and the table was broke. Master bathroom had a faint sewer smell all week. Master bed was not the most comfy either The hotel itself was awesome. The pool was amazing and the location was great. Plenty of towels, which is unusual for a condo, in my experience. We didn't have to wash any. One complaint is that the WiFi connection was awful! My daughter was on Spring Break but still had an exam & other work to do. Easy check out, not much to do & cleaning fee was less than most places. We had to sweep the floor when we got there because of all the dirt. It stunk of cleaning supplies yet didn’t seem clean at all. The bedroom to the right when you walk in was dirty as well. Sep 23, 2019 #### July 2018 Stay My family really enjoyed staying at Destin West, UNIT 512\. Access to so many pools and hot tubs was awesome as well as the view and access to the beach. The umbrella/chair rental company unfortunately took up all the prime spots of the shoreline. This monopoly was very disappointing along with all the signs telling us where we could not sit, walk. We agree with the recommendations for improvements listed in the June 2018 comments and would add, ...fix the door to balcony as it is very hard to open/close. Also, several loose electrical outlets that don't work well. Although we never cooked, I appreciated the well stocked kitchen, many dishes and cookware. Linens were clean, good quality and comfortable. We loved having our own sleeping areas; daughter had the bunkbed area, son had front bedroom and parents in the master room. It was great to be able to have two bathrooms and washer/dryer to wash clothes. Would recommend this condo and hope to book it again for another vacation.
