With a small-town feel, Hollywood Beach is full of bars and restaurants that cannot be found anywhere else. For a truly local experience, you can't go wrong with The Le Tub Saloon, GG's Waterfront Grill, El Tayta and Taverna Opa. Getting Around: ● From Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL): There are 7.72 miles between FLL and Hollywood Beach. ● From Miami International Airport (MIA): Hollywood Beach is 23.8 miles away from MIA. In both cases, you can either take an Uber or rent a car at the Airport. Other Things to Note: ●Registration fee: $50 (one time only). ●Parking is not included in the listing. No car needed but if you need a parking space: You can either park your car at the condo for $42 a day or you can issue a public parking pass for the whole month for only $110 plus taxes. Modern, roof top pool (although bar was not open during visit). Hollywood Beach is great and this place is only one short block walk away from everything the Broadwalk has to offer. 2 negatives, one is the walls are VERY thin. Heard our neighbors every night and early morning. Other could just be me, but laundry service is non-existent. Our keys did not unlock the on site laundry facility, so if you need more towels, it's $20 for manager to bring, we just bought beach towels that we could also bring home. ##### Corey S. Also we had to pay per day for cleaning. We had to do that on our own because of Covid there was no in room cleaning service. No coffee in the room/had to go get some at the front desk. Also the beach was great for the fact we had two beach chairs, but if we wanted shade it was extra for an umbrella. But shown in the ad with both chairs and umbrellas. Little things all add up. The host finally said we were able to be let in to drop off our bags so we could at least go walk around and grab dinner. I emailed and texted a few times throughout the evening but no response. Finally at 10:30, we gave up and just went back to the room since everything was closed and just hoped that it had been cleaned and we weren’t sleeping in an unsanitized room. We received an email the next day assuring us the room had been cleaned but the overall experience was awful. We missed our entire first day there. We were not the only ones with this experience. The lobby was full of very angry people being told their rooms were not ready either.
