The attendant at the front desk was cooking bacon on a hot plate behind the desk when I arrived. It took a while to get his attention, and then he had to wash the grease from his hands before he could attend to my check-in. I've never had that experience at a check-in before - and the smell in the lobby wasn't the best either. Otherwise, everything was fine with my stay.

Amazing staff. Well cared for Property. Delicious breakfast. Great free parking for large vehicles and small. Very nice pool spa area.

It was very noisy all night. There was people fighting in other rooms. There was three gentlemen that stripped down and jumped into the swimming pool with no proper swimming wear, and the bad part was there was kids around when these three adults were intoxicated, and jumped into the swimming pool in their underwear, I have brought it up to the front desk. The lady that I told she was just laughing about it as if it was funny and there was nothing wrong with it. My wife and kids did not feel safe at this location. I will not stay here again, and I was very disappointed.

While my room was clean and comfortable, it was also clearly dated. Little touches were also missing - i.e., the room ac/heating was off, rather than set to a comfortable temperature for a guest's arrival. The housekeeping staff also had not ensured the clock's alarm was off from the previous guest. As a result, I was abruptly awakened 90 mins earlier than i had intended. As for the common spaces (lobby and elevator), they were dated and poorly maintained. Breakfast was the worst Ive had provided in a hotel in many years. Unfortunately, Super 8 failed to live up to being "super" in any way.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast wasnt very good. And I booked the deluxe king with the hot tub and did not get it. The person at the front desk blamed Expedia. Weither it was there fault or not I was very upset and was looking forward to the hot tub. The person at the front desk didn't care. And I can't seem to complain to Expedia. I tried with there online chat but it wouldn't let me chat when I asked for a person, and the phone lines are always busy.

This is the best hotel to stay at when you’re in Fort Frances as I’ve stayed in many of them ! The only disappointment this time was the hot tub wasn’t hot just luke warm !

We stayed during a city-wide power outage lasting from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Staff did as well as anyone could under these circumstances. One suggestion for facilities - a grab bar in the shower would be an asset.

We had 3 rooms booked for almost 3 weeks and the day we arrive, they tell us the power is being shut off at 7 am , the management knew about thus a week earlier but did not inform me at all and because we booked with expedia they will not offer and discount or compensation. Was not impressed but if you phoned in and booked a room they would discount your bill. Im not happy at the hotel and only 1 staff memeber for the while place.

Happy there was a pool and hottub. This hotel is in a convenient area allowing guests choice to walk to several restaurants. The beds are comfortable and staff are helpful and friendly
