The woman who checked us in had numerous piercings on her face (nose) and was intimidating but was very professional and helpful otherwise. "

"We were so happy to find a property where we could stay in Spillville -- and the converted barn was perfect for us. It is rustic, charming, and outfitted with everything we needed -- including resident chickens who provided us with eggs and an outdoor cat who occasionally visited. We had a slight snafu at checkin, but our hosts dashed right over and resolved the issue. They were most welcoming and filled us in on the town's history and places we might like to visit."
