« This property is an empty, abandoned gas station and has quite clearly not been in operation for years. I cannot understand how it's still listed on Expedia and Google, because it literally an empty gas station with no lighting and busted-out windows in the middle of nowhere. I drove an hour to get to this place, arrived in the darkness to find a condemned property, and had to drive to a nearby house to get help because of the lack of phone service in Wharncliffe! « The staff were very friendly and helpful. The establishment however, was very worn and in need of upgrades. The breakfast consisted of donuts and frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Nothing fresh. No fruit. I didn’t expect much considering the area we were in but we enjoyed the countryside and visiting the birth place of Loretta Lynn. »

« The property is extremely run down and not at all what I would consider a clean or comfortable stay. The room had a very strong and unpleasant plug-in fragrance smell that seemed to be covering up other odors. The pillows smelled heavily of body odor, the white towels were stained and the dye from the blue towels ran when wet. The bathroom and shower area need much better cleaning and maintenance. « The property was very clean. The bed was very comfortable except for the flat pillows. We had very poor tv for both nights. It was frustrating that we couldn’t watch the nba playoffs on either tv because their satellite had poor reception.
