"The room was cold with a small but capable electric radiator called upon to warm up a room with single-glazed windows. The breakfast was mostly store-bought items warmed up, except the toast and eggs and mushrooms which were nice. The orange juice was lower quality; another thought the coffee was instant. We got charged twice-- once through reserving with Hotels.com and the second time when they said they hadn't received payment. If it weren't for me going back to them with both receipts, we would have paid double."

" nous tenons à remercier l'équipe pour son accueil. Cependant, plusieurs éléments nous ont profondément inquiétés et nous ont conduits à prendre la difficile décision de ne pas passer la nuit dans cet hôtel. À notre arrivée, l'ambiance était glauque et l'entrée de l'hôtel dégageait une odeur très désagréable, semblant provenir d'un chien et d'urine. En sortant pour dîner, une jeune femme nous a mis en garde de manière vague, sans fournir d'informations supplémentaires sur d'éventuels rôdeurs. Par la suite, un voisin a évoqué un incident grave, parlant de personnes buvant de l'alcool et mentionnant un viol sans plus de détails. Cela a été particulièrement troublant pour nous, surtout avec notre fille de 7 ans. La sécurité et le bien-être de notre famille sont notre priorité absolue. Dans ces circonstances, nous avons jugé nécessaire de réserver une chambre dans un autre hotel pour la nuit, entraînant un coût imprévu de 119 pounds. "

"Felt like being part of a cruise for some reason, the entertainment, size of the hotel, gave that ambiance. The rooms need to be refreshed (the bathroom was old) but all in all, we still had a good time in Folkestone so I'd still give it a 7 if I had to rate the experience."
