The four bedrooms have large windows that provide lots of light. The soft and relaxing colors of the walls, the warmth of the parquet and the refinement of the design objects and furnishings make the rooms particularly comfortable. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, heating. The three bathrooms available to guests are furnished in light colors, equipped with shower or bathtub and all kinds of comforts. The living room enjoys lots of natural light, thanks to the many windows and direct access to the outdoor terrace. The environment has been organized in such a way as to have three perfectly habitable and comfortable areas, that is, a contemporary style kitchenette equipped with every kind of comfort for cooking independently; the relaxation area with a nice and characteristic fireplace, comfortable sofas and armchairs where you can enjoy watching TV or chatting and, finally, the dining room with a spacious table in fine wood. Another highlight of the apartment is the spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the city. Part of the perimeter of the private terrace has been covered by evergreen plants for complete privacy. Walking distance to so many of the top attractions, while being on the more local side of the Arno, we loved staying at this property. Beds were comfortable and the apartment has AC which is a bonus. This is really a beautiful apartment and very well maintained. The terrace is amazing. We parked at Parking Group Florence located at Viale Vasco Pratolini 27, just outside the city walls. It's a 15 walk to the apartment, but the helpful garage staff can have a taxi there for you in a matter of minutes. We were able to leave the car parked the days we were touring the city sites and then take it out for days when we wanted to tour the nearby vineyards. The weather was chilly but we took advantage of the deck anyway. Check in as seamless and the host was attentive and responsive. The place was large and the beds were so comfortable. The apartment (in an old Palazzo !) is perfectly located on the southern side of the Arno - off the very busy streets, but the within in very short walking distance to EVERYTHING. It's exactly as advertised : spacious enough to easily accommodate a large group, but cozy enough to feel right at home. All of the amenities show that the owner's pay great attention to detail (for example, there were ample opportunities to charge all sorts of devices, including many adapters). The communication with the owners before arrival went very smoothly, which was especially important to our group coming literally from the four different corners of our planet. The check-in process was perfectly organized, and thanks to the quick introduction to the premise by Maria we were able to relax almost immediately. The concierge Stefano has excellent recommendations for restaurants, and is very helpful in general (organising taxi service to airport, etc...) ! A nice surprise : apparently, the owners of that large tree just northeast of the terrace had decided to trim it generously just a few days before our arrival --- and thus we suddenly could enjoy the view of the Dome when lounging outside. There was plenty of space for everyone, with Grandma essentially having her own private quarters. The washing machine and dryer were very great, which made laundry a breeze. The air conditioning was fantastic, probably even better than our central air back home in the States, which was a lifesaver during the hot August days. This was one of the nicest rentals we've ever had. The location was perfect; we were able to walk to everything, yet it was situated in a quieter neighborhood, which made mornings and evenings especially peaceful. The location is outstanding, the apartment and deck are as beautiful as the photographs suggest. The owners were fantastic to deal with and were generous in in allowing us to leave our bags in the apartment for several hours while they cleaned for the next renter. Stefano the doorman was charming and helpful. An elevator was available to take us and our bags to the fourth floor.
