The house was very clean and fresh, beds and bathrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The view to the Siuslaw river was spectacular and the location is quiet and peaceful. The only note I would give, is that the kitchen was lacking in a few necessities (i.e., a corkscrew, sugar), which required some extra trips to the grocery store, which was close by. The house had everything we needed and was very well appointed. The bedrooms are small but functional. The main living areas are comfy and take advantage of the big picture windows to watch the tides change and the ducks and seals swim by. It’s close enough to town, but far enough away to be quiet and private. It’s a short drive to the expansive beach near Heceta. We hope to be back! Thank you! ##### Joanne L. Could not find the remote for the fireplace or how the fireplace works. The only thing I think was a problem was there was no instructions in the house itself We enjoyed the beautiful view.
