The small attic offers an enchanting 180 ° view over the historic center of Florence. It is located a few minutes from Santa Maria Novella station, and is well connected to the airport and public transport in the city, and is located in a lively neighborhood with many shops and restaurants. The house is a unique space consisting of: \- the living / sleeping area where the super king size double bed (200x200cm) and the double sofa bed are located; \- the kitchen area, equipped with induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, various utensils; \- the comfortable bathroom with shower, as well as of course the sink, toilet and bidet. From the large sunny windows you can see the Duomo, the Medici Chapels, the Palazzo Vecchio, and also San Miniato and Piazzale Michelangelo, practically the entire historic center. Finally, the large terrace completes the property: a 50 m² space where you can relax, have meals or drink a good glass of wine, admiring the spectacular 180 ° view of its center of Florence and its millenary beauty . NB. Our guests have full exclusive access to the house. It is also possible to agree for a SELF CHECK-IN, otherwise check-in is normally from 14 to 19, according to agreements to be made in advance on the day of arrival. Since it is not a professional activity (there is no reception), guests are kindly asked to communicate their arrival time as accurately as possible and, in case of delay, to communicate it as soon as possible. Check-out is before 10am. Check-ins after normal hours have an additional cost of 20 € (from 19 to 24). The first 3 days, we used our rental car to visit other cities within one hour driving (Sienna, San Gimignano, Volterra, Chianti area, Montecatini Terme / Spa). The last four days were dedicated to Florence. It's 2 km, 25 minutes walk to the Duomo and other city sites. We enjoyed having breakfast at the apartment, on the terrace with fresh bread from the bakery just across the street. We had many dinners at the apartment so we could relax and enjoy the view, with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The owner was very attentive to our needs and left us good recommandations as we arrived, for the services around our place (grocery, bakery, pharmacy, etc.). He also arrange for parking our rental car near by. Because it is a little out of the center, it is quiet on the street, and in a safe residential neighborhood. Truly a nice place to stay, and a wonderful city to visit. We found the place peaceful, clean and very comfy. We loved the giant rooftop space with panoramic views and plenty of shade and comfortable seating provided. Also conveniently located to the train station by a quick, cheap tram ride or to central Florence to museums and cathedral - which you can also walk to in 20 mins. Don’t let the tiny description fool you! The most comfortable bed we’ve slept in while in Italy. Lots of storage space and amazing natural light. New, modern appliances. Air-conditioning that actually works! The softest, most absorbent bath towels. The terrace view is spectacular but so is the view from inside. Easy walk through the city to reach Duomo, Academia and Uffizzi but in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood at night. We couldn’t ask for better communication or easier check in.
