WOW! This art deco property was phenomenal. The room was exquisite and felt luxurious. I was incredibly sad when we had to check out. Biggest bed I think I’ve ever slept in and it was like a cloud. The staff were amazing and helped to arrange a cooking class for us as well.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. The staff was really helpful and friendly and made us feel very taken care of. We did notice mosquitoes in the room at night and had some bites. That was the only negative thing I’d have to say. We would definitely recommend this to friends. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

It was a really nice hotel, only a couple floors were the hotel and very close to the city centre. Breakfast was alright, and there's a lively bar next door at night. Very nice decor and personnel only sometimes present at the location. It was good but not great for the cost. It felt like an air bnb. We loved Florence but wouldn't stay here specifically again. Again, nothing wrong with the hotel at all!

This was a gorgeous hotel. The room was huge and the bathroom beautiful. Plenty of room to hang up clothes. Water and coffee were provided every day. Staff was very helpful getting cabs etc. Beautiful outside garden to have aperativos in or eat a sandwich. Could definitely live in that room. Will be back next time in Florence.

Very beautiful place in center Florence, close to everything. Nice staff. Clean and comfy. Wonderful view but a little noisy in night if there is party in street.

Remember to use their shuttle service to and from airport. Taxi's charge 20$ for a 2 minute drive around the corner from the airport. The dining is ok but ordered the ravioli dish and they serve 4 ravioli's for 18$. Outrageous.

The property was in a very convenient location for walking around Florence and the area felt safe and was close to lots of attractions. The only downside of the location was that there was a bar right outside our bedroom window and this was quite noisy until about 12:30am most nights. The room was large and had everything we needed. The bathroom felt a little dated and there was no full length mirror or space around the sink to put toiletries/makeup etc. When we checked in it was not immediately obvious where the reception was as the hotel is part of a large block of flats. Better signage and a clearer welcome would have been appreciated. The sign was for Polo Hospitality rather than Maison du Sage. There was not someone on reception all night, which was fine as we didn't need any assistance but worth bearing in mind.

Great value. Got the family suite plus two double rooms, which was perfect for 7 family members in total. Family suite had living, dining and kitchen space where we all could comfortably hang out and have breakfast. Wide street in front was convenient for taxis and loading and unloading luggage. Santa Croce area is a bit off the beaten path but easy walking to all of Florence's sights. Highly recommended.

One of the best hotel experiences on my life. We were in Florence as a family of 5. The suite was huge, so awesome for a group who had been living on top of one another for a week. We arrived late and the staff was very accommodating. They also were very patient with me when I had to deal with credit card issues before arriving. The location was perfect too. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend is because I’d hate for it to become too popular. This place was a joy.

Wow what can I say I was speechless. The entrances to the apartments are grand. You are greeted by a red carpet. The floor features several comfortable sitting areas on ornate sofas characterised by art deco paintings. The furniture is of a lacquered Italian wood. It is reminiscent of a presidential suite. The bathroom is of black slated tiles and a modern black slated floor to the shower. I enjoyed the rain forest shower. All the toilettes you need are supplied down to the cotton buds, hair dryer and cotton buds. The bedroom consist again of an art deco theme. The bed is very comfortable and the furniture is of lacquered Italian wood setting a tasteful back drop to the room. The reception staff walked us to our rooms. Let us know the code for the front door and the catering staff are very friendly and made a wonderful breakfast. I felt very spoilt and well looked after. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

A great location, convenient to walk to all the sites but not too close. Rooms were clean and exactly as per website. Only disappointment was to be told of the cost for breakfast at check out with the bill.

The rooms were larger than many European hotel rooms, the beds were comfortable and the towels were large and plentiful. There were also in room safes. Their website stated there was a self service bar, which was only a cabinet in a hallway with a few bottles of various liquors. There wasn't a cube of ice or any mixer to be found and the seating areas were in the hallways and very cramped. The staff were very nice but not helpful about any area activities or how to navigate reservations, etc. We only used the breakfast once, but it was fine. WE wanted to be able to sit down before dinner for a drink with friends, so this was disappointing. Otherwise, we liked the hotel facilities.

We stayed at Maison du Sage for three days and loved it! The room was beautiful, the AC worked fine, the view was incredible, the location was perfect. There was a little noise from the street, but nothing that ear plugs wouldn't fix. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We didn't get the breakfast, so can't attest to that. Very comfortable beds/bedding. Overall wonderful!

Very nice property with great Art Deco furnishing. Although staff is not onsite 24/7, they were very helpful. Santa Croce area is convenient to main tourist attractions, but it is not a touristy area, and is near many restaurants/bars that are primarily frequented by locals. Much younger crowd than tourist areas. Weird...most of the aTV channels are in German... Dunno why. Only downside is that it's a hike to the train station; unless you're 20, you'll want a taxi w. Luggage in tow.
