The room we got was clean but very dated. We got a double bed but the mattress had a dip in the middle which made slipping uncomfortable. There was no chair in the room which female guests may need to apply makeup. On the plus side, the hotel had breakfast included and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Perfect location to walk everywhere in Florence… good breakfast, beds weren’t great but it was ok for a 2 night’s stay. Friendly staff but to be honest a bit noisy as we had a room close to the reception area. Overall a good place for the convenience of the location.

The good: The hotel staff was amazing. Omar was super helpful during checkin and in recommending nice restaurants and attractions in the city. The breakfast is really good. They had fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs and several other good choices. The bad: This is a hostel and had some private rooms which can accommodate families. Our room had 2 twin bunk beds. The hotel is dated and the rooms and bathrooms are not well maintained. Showers and sinks were draining slowly. However upon request the shower drain has been fixed. The rooms were not sound proof. We could hear loud conversations from the walkways and rooms next door. We had to call the hotel management to remind other guests about quiet hours. The property is a little far from the main attractions and restaurants. And there is construction on streets next to the hotel. I think it may be better to book a slightly better hotel closer to the train station and other attractions to save time and money on transportation.

I give 5 stars to staff, breakfast and location. I give 2 stars to the room, beds, toilet and the other facilities. It needs some renovations and plumbing services. But we had a lovely stay. Thank you to Omar at reception and all staff at the breakfast room. We are all lovely and very friendly. Grazie Mille!

Extremely basic room. The twin bed was just a thin mattress on a wooden frame which was very uncomfortable and like sleeping on cement. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. Even had a few bites on my leg amd ankles that got all red and swollen like bed bug bites

My only expectation was a clean bed with clean sheets and that was met. Corridor was noisy during my stay and there is no sound proof. It was the only economic option that was close to the city center so i do not regret.

Este hotel no es bueno porque es muy pequeño los cuartos mi incómodo para dos personas . Los toilets son muy antiguos y aveces no baja el agua . No tiene elevador. Transporte malo . Perdimos un viaje porque el taxi no llegó a tiempo y llegamos tarde a la excursión por cierto era lejos la recogida para el viaje a la Tuscany . Terrible

Really ugly uncomfortable and old place
Hotel is like a prison or intern scool, they just painted with Royal blue and bright red tha bathroom tiles, floors, bathroom accesories and walls, its horrible because paint is peeling of. Bed matresses are really old nd thin and room is tiny with no paintings or anything, just plain walls. We ran of tissue papel and had to go and ask for more because they don’t leave you spare ones. Two man at reception are nice but the olda lady is grumpy and the rest are in the cell phone all the time. It is very expensive for what you get.

Overall we were very pleased with hotel. The staff was outstanding. They were very helpful with information, directions and anything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful and consistent each day. The room was good, I only have one suggestion to put a white shower curtain to add brightness to that space. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

If you have this property on your radar, please delete it!! We read mixed reviews and decided to book anyway. Big mistake! This property was obviously a school or industrial building. Not clean. Very noisy. We stayed over a Saturday night where there was a brawl in the hallway from 3am to 4am. Needless to say we had no sleep and felt very uneasy. When we approached the staff at the front desk the next morning asking what happened, we were told this goes on all the time. We shouldn’t be worried. They just call the police. They claimed they weren’t aware of any issue, even though our room was just steps from the front desk. I’m disappointed that Expedia promotes this establishment at all. My worst experience at a hotel in any country I’ve visited.

They refused to lower the room AC. Heavily over-priced while taking advantage of travellers and lack of options under 600 euro’s/night. Bathroom ceiling and wall paint was peeling and corners of rooms were dirty. We didn’t take our shoes off the entire time we were in our room, the pillows were paper thin and so we’re the walls - hard to sleep hearing every bump in the night. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This place really sucks. No outlets. Very small room. Lock is unsafe. Tv broken. Breakfast crowded. Reception hidden on second floor. Extra blankets were not obvious. Huge noises and hard to sleep. No sound proofing.
