Stayed there for 2 days...was much better than we expected....got what they called a double bed, but seemed more like a queen. They were asking that you don't flush toilet paper down the toilet, which was odd for us. Shower stall was very small. If you get there late you need to go across the street to a sister hotel, that should be better noted.

The bathroom for a room that sleeps 4 was extremely small and you could hardly fit in it !!! It was clean but not maintained , the beds were terrible!!

Terrible experience. They switched up our hotel and refused to give us a refund when we rejected it. Checked out next day asap. Not happy with their service.

Upon arrival, took us a few minutes to figure out that we had to go to a hotel across the street to get the keys. Good continental breakfast. The pillows were too high and I didn't sleep well the first night (and had neck pain the next day). However, the lady at the front desk was very friendly, polite, and accommodating. She got just flat pillows, and was very understanding of my friend's dietary needs (lactose intolerant). My friend brought her own almond milk and they were very kind to heat it up for her, and they did remember the next day to ask if she need her ilk heated.

Very close to the main train station, and walking distance to everything. Lots of shopping, restaurants close by. The check in is a tad cumbersome if you arrive late, but otherwise it's fine. I am a budget traveler and this was perfect for me. The breakfast was great and the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this little hotel and would definitely stay again.

Everything is great! This property has a great location, the staff are great and overall a great stay. The only thing we noticed is that in our room the air conditioning didn’t work. You can see the machine and turn it on but no cold air comes out. Despite this I would recommend staying here and will return next time I’m in Florence.

I wasn’t too impressed with the elevator at the apt. It didn’t always work. I also found the place very noisy at night. Firenze is a very dirty city and this was especially true around the building

Ideal location when you take the train: Santa Maria Novella station is a 3 minutes walk. Old rooms but clean and with a certain charm. Breakfast Ok but missing fruits and eggs. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Near train station and restaurants. We would love to extend 1 night but too bad they are fully booked but the guy from the front desk helped us to find another hotel nearby which is a great help. Would love to stay here again.

I stayed twice at this hotel,if it’s not good ,I certainly won’t return the second time. The price is good,the breakfast is extraordinary. The front desk receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very run down - my shower didn’t work and there was only a few drips of water coming out. Cabinets and tiles broken - The room was a nice size on the plus end. Breakfast is very limited

Great potential but below par experience
No reception after 8pm,understand. But no AC and no heating at the same time in a smelly and cold room? Not done. Not sure what did I play for. To be fair, the breakfast was great.

Prime location
Location and service of staff up front was amazing. Very difficult to find where to check in upon arrival. Very disappointed in housekeeping. Our sheets were not changed the entire five night stay, nor were the floors swept (Our feet were dirty after walking on them).

This hotel is really recommended. Location is perfectly in the central. Hotel reception that handled our check in and check out is also nice. Breakfast is just okay. Overall we are happy with our stay in this hotel

Unpleasant stay in Florence.
First impression, the room was spacious and clean. However, I soon discovered several things that really bothered me. * Uncomfortable beds, some firm and sturdy, but some sagging and too soft for your back. * Low water pressure in shower. * Hard to control warm water in the shower, either too hot or too cold * Noise from the streets with windows closed. * No access to fresh air in the bathroom, so it smells weird. * Bathroom door could not be shut or close properly, so no privacy. * water cup in the bathroom is not disposable, meaning it is used by many other guests. * The room has a kettle to boil hot water for tea or coffee, but no CUPS!
