It’s location offers easy access to local hiking trails and scenic drives. My party took advantage of its proximity to the Idaho border by driving through a portion of the Nez Perce and Clearwater National Forests. To the east is the town of Philipsburg, a living history of the old west with a nearby ghost town recounting the boom and bust of the mining industry during the late 19th century. The area also offers well documented history of the Lewis and Clark expedition. The surrounding mountains provide stunning views for a memorable Montana experience. ##### David A. If you are looking for something quiet, relaxing with the feeling of seclusion this is it. We really enjoyed our stay at the property - it was exactly as advertised. We were 4 friends fishing for 2 weeks and it was a great location, neighborhood, nice outdoor space and the house had everything we could have possibly needed. The only advice I'd give to the owners(to be clear this is NOT a negative critique) is to convert one of the sofas to a pull out or futon to add just a little bit more sleeping space for another person or 2! ##### John Y.
