We especially liked the neighborhood, at the border of Santa Croce and San Ambrogio -- it's a quarter that still houses actual Florentines, and the stores sell things like groceries, rather than model Duomos and leather handbags. The kitchen is well-stocked--we were able to shop at the wonderful Mercato di Sant'Ambrogio (a must-visit market for every foodie) and cook dinner in the apartment. The noise from the busy street did not turn out to be an issue. There is a small deli, bakery, and coffee shop nearby. This apartment is literally steps away from the Mercato di Sant'Ambrogio, lots of great restaurants, and many of the most popular tourist sights. Niccolo was prompt, helpful, and responsive. Sep 29, 2011 #### "Die Wohnung ist sehr zen... "Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (z.B. Elektrobus C2 vom Bahnhof) schnell erreichbar. Sie hat eine wirklich ideale Lage - alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Läden sind innerhalb kurzer Zeit auch für ältere Leute "erlaufbar". Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das lag auch an dem freundlichen und sympathischen Vermieter Fabio, der uns gute Tipps für Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. gegeben hat.
