"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

Top Fintice Hotel Reviews

Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem

Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem

8/10 Good
"This is a pretty boutique hotel, and we had a very nice room and bathroom. We didn't have any hand soap or body wash for the shower--I am sure they just forgot-- but the room had nice amenities, such as a minibar, easy to use plugs, big towels, plenty of light, all in all it was clean and comfortable. There is an elevator inside, but this is simply not an accessible building--even with the elevator, there are places with steps, and up to the front entrance is a good set of stone stairs! There is off street parking at the hotel, but it is at a pretty serious incline, and it is NOT easy to get out of. Mostly one has to back out, down the hill. Helpful staff, a nice breakfast, decent location near a lot of places to eat. We had a very pleasant stay."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Fintice?
The best area to stay in Fintice is generally within the village centre, as Fintice is a smaller locality.

The village centre is where you'll find the main amenities and a more established feel. Key landmarks like the local church and the municipal office are located here, and the area is typically more residential with local eateries and shops dotted along the main roads. It's a nice area for those who appreciate a quiet, local experience.

For travellers looking for a tranquil escape, staying near the outskirts of the village centre, particularly towards the surrounding countryside, offers a peaceful environment. These areas often provide views of the rolling hills and easy access to walking paths, great for couples or solo travellers seeking relaxation and nature.
When is the best time to go to Fintice?
The best time to visit Fintice is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is generally pleasant, with mild temperatures and less rainfall compared to the summer months. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Prešov Region and enjoying outdoor activities comfortably. You'll find the countryside lush in spring and beautifully coloured in autumn, superb for walks or simply taking in the scenery.

Families with school-aged children might find the summer months (July and August) more convenient due to school holidays. While it can be warmer and more humid, and there's a higher chance of thunderstorms, it's still a popular time for local festivals and events, offering a lively option.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Fintice.
How much is the nightly rate at a Fintice hotel?
Prices for hotels in Fintice often vary, but you can find a great deal from CA $84 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
