"Derby City was a fantastic hotel. They put together a great Derby Weekend package. Able food. The transportation to and from the track was outstanding."

"Great staff, older hotel needing repairs and updating..:had shower with leaking faucet that couldn’t be stopped and it’s surface was beat up, older carpet and furniture, no toaster in kitchen."

"The motel was conveniently located about 7 minutes from Churchill Downs. It was clean but a bit old. The shower was nice and we had a comfortable stay. The planes were sometimes very loud due to proximity to the airport."

"Great place to stay. We stayed here for a night so we can go visit the Museum of the Mighty Eight Air Force. The walls are thin and we happened to be next to people who kept slamming their doors. Will stay here again "

"Ginger at the front desk was great upon arrival! She was so welcoming and helpful! We were pleasantly surprised by the Derby weekend festivities at the hotel and took advantage of the “shuttle master John” that took us straight to the shuttle stop at the Expo center! All the staff were SO great and accommodating! I would recommend to anyone traveling in the Louisville area!!!"

"Came for Derby and paid a very high price for this place, ($600/night!) Way overpriced for the quality of hotel. If you want to sleep in the middle of a freeway and listen to it all night, this is your place. Also, the in room amenities are non-existent. There is a little coffee maker but they give you paper cups and only one pre-filled coffee filter per day! We will not be coming back."
