  • Beautiful, light and airy detached coastal cottage in a quiet part of The Bay - featuring AMAZING vaulted windows - ideal for family holidays. Part of the Bay Holiday Village this truly is a special property!

    A beautiful, light and airy open-plan premium cottage located in a quiet part of The Bay. Enjoy a spacious south facing balcony to enjoy the sunshine. The property is within walking distance of the meadows, beach, and The Bay facilities.

    Enter Oyster Cottage through the hallway with cloakroom leading into the open-plan kitchen / dining area. Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your alfresco meals! Relax in the large lounge space with SMART TV and wood-burning stove and relax on the lovely sofas (seat 5).

    Exit the fully equipped kitchen and lounge through the large bi-fold doors to a large private furnished patio, ideal for outside relaxing with seating for 4. Please note there is an outside tap - ideal for cleaning muddy paws!

    Upstairs there are two double bedrooms both with En-suite shower rooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and vaulted ceiling (with floor to ceiling windows) and the second bedroom with full-size bunks, full-size single bed and TV. Both bedrooms have large bi-fold doors leading onto the south facing full length balcony with seating to enjoy breakfast or to reflect on the days activities with a glass of wine.

    The log burner makes Oyster Cottage warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

Great Stay

Beautiful cottage and we hardly watched tv due to the two wood pigeons who were nesting beside the patio doors. Watching nature at work was beautiful. We named them Woody and Winnie. We hope the next guests let them continue.

Last minute break

Beautiful cottage , very bright open plan property , large windows letting the light in , two lovely bedrooms , will be looking at going in the summer when you can open the bi-folding doors and enjoy the outdoor seating areas more .

Sunny week

Just what we needed, lovely weather, lots of walking and time to sit outside and relax in the sun. Jasper our dog loved the beach, lots of space to run around. Not too busy perfect get away.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay at oyster cottage. The bay Filey is a great place - close to beach in a beautiful location. We had stayed in another cottage previously. Loved the massive windows in the bedrooms and the house lay out was fab. Location was ok, but as the site has been expanded it doesn’t have the view it would have had previously. Plenty of parking. Was disappointed it didn’t have an outside bbq facility - but we had friends staying on another cottage who did. It needs a review of its housewares - cups and glasses and a couple of extra sharp knives. There were only two of us so we did ok - but when we hosted friends from another holiday home it was sparse so we had to improvise. It could benefit from an air fryer. We like to do a mix of cooking and eating out. All the equipment was fine and working. Overall a lovely stay with many positives. We would consider again.

We enjoyed a very relaxing week at this property. It is very well maintained and in a lovely area! We have had a comfortable stay and enjoyed all that Bay Filey has to offer. Booking and correspondence were great. We had no issues during our stay!

Short break

This was our 3rd visit to the bay inside a year all booked through Anchor Bay Holidays Anthony and the team are so helpful and the property’s that we have stayed in have all been exceptional honestly can’t recommend Anchor Bay Holidays enough Oyster Cottage is a very well maintained cottage just a short walk from the main amenities and beach that we enjoyed throughout our stay with our two dogs The cottage it’s self is ideally placed and offers comfort and quiet with its location for walks around the meadows or beach the cottage is designed to high spec and offers plenty of room as we found when our two boys tagged along for a nights stay we will certainly return to Oyster Cottage to enjoy this property again in the near future

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed.

Lovely looking cottage, clean and comfortable. This cottage is light and bright with four sets of bifold doors, two downstairs and in the bedrooms leading to a balcony. Three adults, two children and two dogs stayed and we had plenty of room even on the rainy days!

Great short family break

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Love the upstairs balcony pity we weren't there longer to make the most of it. Comfy beds. Plenty to do onsite and nearby for our 4 year old Grandson. Bit of a walk to the beach for Greatgrandma, but she made it, just.! Nice meal in the pub and pizza restaurant . Prices not too expensive. Would book again maybe for a bit longer next time thankyou.

Lovely Home

The house was really lovely, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. We didnt eat any meals at home but the kitchen seemed well equipped and there were plenty of mugs and cutlery. The beach was glorious and only 15 mins walk away. Filey and Bempton Cliffs nearby.Wouldn’t normally have chosen a holiday ‘village’ but it was very pleasant. I would imagine it can get very busy in high summer but it was fairly quiet - perfect for us.Thank you

Family of 4

Great location to relax and enjoy facilities on site and surrounding towns. Beautiful, comfortable house that is equipped well with stunning balcony’s. If travelling with young ones, encourage to take a plastic cup/plate or two. None available and whilst no damage, was a concern. Whole family loved the house (including day tripping grandparents) and having stayed in the Bay prior, our favourite holiday home by far.

A winter break

We enjoyed our short stay. We found several things quite minimal - ie no shelf in showers, not enough tumblers. Very disappointed (especially at this time of year) to find that the washing machine was only that and not a dryer as well - advertising needs updating. Otherwise a good stay - warm and comfortable.

Anniversary

Hi, lovely holiday home very comfortable, we were there for 3 weeks very central for walks to the beach, the towels and bed sheets were changed after 2 weeks. The only slight negative was the central heating was set too low, it has been very cold and it it became quite chilled at times. There is a log burner which was very handy, but we did burn a few trees during our stay. Overall i would recommend this holiday cottage and would return.
