"Communication with Host was top notch. Beautiful property. Amenities are A. Mattress, towels, seating were all so nice and comfortable. Loved watching the Geese, ducks and Cranes everyday on the back porch. Just very peaceful and restful. Would definitely stay again."

"We were in the area for our daughter's graduation from Montevallo. The house was great for our family! Awesome deck with great views! If u were fishing it would be a great place to stay! "

"Booked this for my mom and my cousin. Mom is vegetarian and she said it was the best breakfast spread she’s had in a long time as a vegetarian in a hotel. Staff were also friendly and they said the hotel was clean and well maintained"

"Rooms had been remodeled, but very poorly. The AC unit in the room was set at 68 but wouldn't stay running for more than a few minutes before shutting off. It would come back on soon, but not running like it should and never got cold in the room. The remote to the TV didn't have a back on it. No big deal, but the battery was slightly sticking out. I shoved it in to get connection. As I was flipping through the channels, it started getting so hot in my hand that I had to lay it down. The knew it was like that because they had stuck something behind battery to keep it from staying in. Fire hazard for sure."

"Off the beaten path for sure, if your scared of the dark would not recommend. It’s very dark at night, no street lights and it’s in the woods. The place was ok, just would have been better if it had a microwave, and a better shower. Te shower head needed to be replaced. Doesn’t have a very big mirror, needs a bigger one.Did not have any hand soap had to go buy our own and even dish soap."
