Escape to the Buffalo Mountain Cabin, a tranquil haven nestled directly off the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway. This charming, rustic retreat offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature, making it an ideal getaway for couples or small families looking to unwind and reconnect. This cozy space is pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along!   
  
Inside the cabin, you'll find a cozy queen-size bed, a pull-out sofa for additional guests, and a large jacuzzi tub to soothe away the day's stresses. With cable TV and a thoughtfully equipped kitchen, including a stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and a small refrigerator, you'll have everything you need for a relaxed stay in the mountains. The open layout creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages you to kick back and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.  
  
Step outside and take in the fresh mountain air from the porch swing, where you can sip your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine as you watch the sun set over the stunning mountain views. Located just 15 miles from the charming towns of Mount Airy, NC, Meadows of Dan, VA, and Galax, VA, you're just a short drive from local shops, hiking opportunities, and a rich culture to explore. Whether you're here for a romantic retreat or a peaceful stop on your journey, the Buffalo Mountain Cabin offers the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and natural beauty.  
  
Please note: All cabins are equipped with Wi-Fi. This is a non-smoking unit. A maximum of two pets are allowed, and guests must agree to our pet policy prior to arrival. Minimum booking age is 18.  
  
Lonesome Pine Cabins is a charming cluster of 12 rustic log cabins tucked into the high country above the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap, Virginia (milepost \~197), offering sweeping panoramic views of the Virginia and North Carolina foothills—including Buffalo Mountain. Located just off the scenic Parkway, these cabins are ideal for a peaceful mountain retreat or romantic getaway.  
  
Nestled on 21 acres of wooded, rolling hills, Lonesome Pine Cabins offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, it's the perfect home base for exploring scenic drives, hiking trails, local music venues, and charming wineries and antique shops in nearby towns like Galax, Floyd, and Independence.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
