Falls Reserve Conservation Area Tours and Activities

Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room. We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach. Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was pleasant but very stuffy and and damp but was told they just cleaned up after flooding so I'm sure a dehumidifier will solve the issue. Close to beach, right beside a great restaurant, parking right out front. Would stay again in room 1. The gentleman who helped us get to our room was pleasant and very helpful. Everyone was friendly.

I booked this hotel because the pictures looked quite nice, and chatGBT recommended it. I checked in after a long day. Location was a little strange and the parking situation wasn’t great. The hotel is surrounded by a high volume of unhoused people as well as obvious drug use. I was a solo traveler and felt very uncomfortable. The lobby’s first impression was a very old and musty smell. They had stations with refreshments ( not that they invited guests to help themselves). They have a code entry lock system, which also was not obvious and required some assistance. Once inside the room, there was no way to latch and lock from the inside. That would’ve helped give a sense of safety. Also, when you check in, you have to sign a waiver form, releasing liability for harm, theft, etc.. if I had any options at that time, I would’ve cancelled and left. I don’t recommend staying here if you are single. Thankfully, it was only for one night and I left early in the morning.
