"We had an amazing stay in the cottage, the area is really nice and there is a lot to see! The only thing that could have been better is a larger bed, it was a bit small for us. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time!"

"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country. "We originally had a room in the main hotel which was large but we hadn’t spotted that they had lodges too. We upgraded to a lodge with hot tub for my wife’s 50th. Loved it. Well appointed and staff could not do enough for us. Went way above what was required and we are very grateful. Check in is in the coach house which is the restaurant. Now, food! Had breakfast there an evening meal and Sunday lunch. The standard is superb, loved it. The roast was huge and very very well done one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Excellent. Had a prawn starter both nights and that was spot on. Burger was nailed totally. Applause to the team. Breaky was always first class well presented and staff absolutely lovely Thanks for a great weekend"

"We loved it, dogs loved it , garden could be a bit more secure though, but we just stayed out with them. Lovely views and some gorgeous beaches not to far away in the car. Everything you need is there, but a bread knife, was a bit hard to cut an unsliced loaf 🤣"

"My girlfriend, our dog, and I had a lovely stay in the Shepherd’s Shed. The views from both the shed and the balcony were amazing, and the cozy hot tub was perfect for the cold November nights. Once we got it up to temperature, it stayed hot for ages, so we even enjoyed a couple of morning dips! The Shepherd’s Shed is in the perfect location for exploring North Devon!! we went on some great walks and also enjoyed plenty of peace and quiet, which was exactly what we needed after a busy few months. The games room was good fun too, even though we didn’t spend much time there. Overall, it’s an excellent and beautifully located place. We’d definitely love to visit again in the summer to make use of the barbecue and enjoy evenings outside under the gazebo with the fire pit."
