Perfectly located near the historic Citadel, charming local shops, and lovely beaches, this is your gateway to discovering the best of "La Bretagne". Families, couples, and pet lovers are all welcome at this slice of coastal paradise. From Saturday to Saturday in July and August. The house is located in a private cul-de-sac that serves 3 detached houses. Only the 2 neighbors are allow to cross in front of the house. You will be able to spend a holiday entirely "pedestrian" if you wish. To come to Port Louis you can use the car, of course, but also the train. Arrival at the TGV station in Lorient and then the bus boat, a popular means of transport in the region. The house consists on the ground floor of a large living room with an equipped kitchen area, a changing room, a bathroom and a toilet. On the 1st floor: - a large master bedroom includes 2 beds of 90 cm that can become a double bed on request, a bed bench and dressing room. - a second bedroom with a 160 cm bed - The 2 bedrooms on the first floor are separated by a sliding wall that allows a more flexible configuration. - a shower room with toilet On the 2nd floor, a large room with 2 beds of 90 cm that can become a double bed on request and a dressing room. All the main rooms have the view of the Little Sea of Gâvres. In the outdoor area, you will enjoy the 2 terraces exposed to the South. The small terrace allows you to have coffee, the largest will allow you to take your meals and languish in the sunbathing. House located in front of the sea on the small fishing port of Locmalo. Port Louis is a quaint little town steeped in history. Nearby: Many beaches and coves; Fishing on foot (clams, hulls, oysters, shrimp, mussels etc...) Fishing with a cane on the dock or surfing on the beaches. Watersports: Sailing Clubs, Kite-surfing, Kayaking. The Citadel: Museum of the Company of India and the Navy. Marina. Supermarkets a 7 minute walk and all shops in the heart of the city. Traditional market on Saturday morning. There are a choice of several beaches all within walking distance. The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed swimming in the sea and kayaking. Port Louis is a lovely little town with shops and cafe's all within a few minutes walk from the property. The boat that takes you to Gavres is right next to the house, which is worth a visit, especially to the beautiful beach. The house is clean, modern and well equipped. Mit Ausnahme der durchgängig weißen Fliesen die, vor allem im Eingangsbereich, einige Macken aufweisen, ist nichts abgewohnt oder verschlissen. Alles ist peinlich sauber und gepflegt. Direkt am kleineren Hafen von Port Louis, an dem die Fähre nach Gâvres ablegt (sehr praktisch..So ist man ruckzuck an kilometerlangen Sandstränden). Das Haus ist vielleicht von außen unscheinbar, im Innern hat es viel Charme und Charakter (die steilen Treppen zu den Schlafzimmern sind dabei vielleicht für den ein oder anderen zu herausfordernd). Die Terrasse bietet direkte Sicht auf das "kleine Meer von Gâvres": das wiederum bietet viel zum Schauen - Fischer- und Freizeitboote in allen Varianten, Standup-Padling, Kite-Surfer, Muschelsucher während der Ebbe und, und, .. Die Küche im Haus lässt keine Wünsche übrig (auch ein großer Grill steht zur Verfügung) ...Allerdings sollte man beachten, dass es in der Umgebung viele gute Restaurants zu entdecken gibt (da muss man allerdings die Öffnungszeiten beachten und oft auch vorher reservieren). Port Louis ist ein ursprünglicher Ort mit viel Charme, der auch daher rührt, dass kein Massentourismus dort stattfindet. Hier machen vor allem Franzosen Urlaub - alle sind sehr freundlich zu den Touristen, die des Französischen nicht so mächtig sind. Wir hatten noch dazu das Glück 14 Tage sommerliche Temperaturen zu genießen. Besser geht es schon fast nicht. Nous avons spécialement apprécié le vue directe sur la baie depuis la maison et encore plus depuis la terrasse qui se trouve directement en bord de mer (bon équipement en table, chaise et fauteuils d'extérieur). La grande terrasse avec vue imprenable sur la mer de Gavres permet de passer de très bons moments en extérieur. Très bonne localisation : proximité immédiate du port de Locmalo qui permet de rejoindre Gavres en 5 min en bateau, moins de 5 min à pied des plages, un peu plus de 5 min à pied des commerces du centre ville de Port-Louis. ##### Alexandre M. La maison était parfaite, plus grande que ce que nous pensions, une très bonne literie et un cadre idyllique. Nous avons eu la chance de tomber en marée haute le matin et le soir ce qui nous a permis de prendre un café ainsi qu’un apéro au son de l’eau. Nous y reviendrons certainement!
