The home was comfortable. However there were a few things not disclosed. The instructions with code was incomplete, i had to call PM to get help on how to use the door code properly, i.e. press logo, turn left, etc. Once we entered we were met with ants, and a sign that says NO REFUNDS due to ants if we leave or complain but this WAS NOT DISCLOSED to me during booking. NOTHING on booking mentioned ants. In addition, the counters were not clean or wiped down, i can clearly see stains from dried liquids. We saw a sign by the foyer that we needed to leave shoes at the door, but our socks were BLACK and feet black, I'm assuming their cleaners doesnt mop the house. My aunt turned her pillow over and was met with a FOUL body odor on the pillow.. not sure if they do ALL the laundry in the home or if they only touch what us evidently used. That was gross. Lastly, the air vent in the master bedroom had hair and lint clearly hanging from it, my husband's allergy flared up everytime the air kicked on. Because the property is in eureka, we were staying for an entire week, we did not complain about these things. We toughed it out. But I hope property management kicks up their cleaning a notch for thue beautiful home. My problem was the lack of disclosure of ants, and lack of cleanliness of the home. I would book again, but I would ask or inquire next time. I have photos of the vent but we just washed our socks for the week and waited to do review. ##### Linda H. We stayed about a week. The only downside was that I was working remotely and missed out on a whole weeks worth of work due to internet issues. The owner was very nice and came out to reboot everything but unfortunately it still was not working. It also had plenty if room for me and my six other family members with three beds inside and another queen in an attached cottage in the walled-in, wrap-around backyard. The house also came with free Wi-Fi and a smart TV with HDMI. Also, the house came with glasses, plates, some seasonings, coffee, cooking ware and utensils--which were nice amenities although we brought all our own stuff. The only negative thing I have to say about this Vacasa location is it wasn't cleaned very well: - The floor was swept but did not appear mopped (our socks were dark brown by bedtime on first day). - We found two used marijuana joints on the patio table in the back yard. - We also found a used fake eyelash in the master bathroom on the floor... - As well as hair in one of the chest of drawers and in between the sheets of the "newly made" beds. We were kind of grossed out, but did some minor cleaning ourselves. Other than that we enjoyed our privacy and had clear instructions on what to do regarding checking ina nd checking through Vacasa sending me emails and text messages. The place was great. During our stay it was so foggy that we didn't get to see the view as wished. The house itself was clean, comfortable and nestled up on a hill. Great spots to hang outside both in the front and on the back. The only unique thing that stood out was the 4th bedroom not being attached to the rest of the house. While it was secure and within the fenced in property, my sisters and I didn't stay in that room. ##### Jill W. I thought it was on the bay from the pictures, but it is not. There is a nice view of the water and beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Only negative is they only left one roll of toilet paper in the master bath. With 7 people a couple extra rolls would’ve been nice. ##### Leeann T.
