Great little place.

Check-in was a little clumsy; everything else was great. Small room, clean and cozy. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine and coffee, some snacks, water ... everything like the big ones.

The staff communication was awesome! They were able to get new all checked in before i arrived so i could go straight to my room after my long drive. The room was very quiet and clean, the ac was nice and cool and the house keeping staff made sure i had everything I needed for my stay. Would highly recommend. :)

At first I was in room 5 and it was dirty. But they quickly moved me to room 20. And they were very polite and nice about it

I had booked this room knowing we needed a spot to rest after driving for 14 hours and after reading reviews. There is no staff on site, which doesn’t bother me but I know that matters to some. They email you your door code on your arrival day. No issues there. The building is not in great condition but not totally crumbling either. There was lots of piles sand in all the outside common areas and some trash but it looked like there had been a dust storm recently so that could account for the random sand piles and trash. Our room was clean. The craftsmanship on some of the “repairs” was a little dodgy but again a serviceable place to rest your head. Our linens were clean and bed was a bit creaky with the springs crunching a bit. But slept on it fine. I would advise the cleaning staff to check the bathtub drain after cleaning cause it needs some attention. Stuff sticks in there. On a whole without knowing the owners situation it seems like they are trying. My partner wasn’t so impressed but I found it perfectly serviceable for what it was.

We had a short but pleasant stay at Five Star Inn. It was quiet and did not felt unsafe at any moment. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. Only thing that was missing was an Iron, as I had traveled from SC and all of my clothes were wrinkled but that was just a minor inconvenience. Will stay here again if I need to.
