The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Lock the doors
Dishwasher Note: With our housekeeper juggling same-day turnovers during the busy season, starting the 2-hour dishwasher cycle before you leave would be a huge help—thank you!
Laundry Note: To help our very busy housekeeper, please gather used towels and start a load—towels take a long time to wash and dry. No need to worry about sheets; they’re cleaned off-site.
Trash note:
If you’re able, taking the trash to the designated dumpster would be a big help. Our housekeeper is recovering from shoulder surgery and truly appreciates the extra kindness.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The location was great, close to town without feeling like you were in the thick of it. The house itself was clean, well-stocked and had a great mountain feel. A huge added bonus with the hot tub, too! We will definitely be back!
We have stayed at several properties in estes park and this one has it all! Great location, wonderful amenities, and a perfect set up for a family of 4 with grandparents in tow. It was also the cleanest place we have stayed at. Highly recommended.
We loved the layout of the cabin and how close it was to town. The cabin had everything we needed. It felt very spacious and had all the amenities we could need. We would definitely stay there again!
My wife and I absolutely loved this cabin! We were in town to go to Rocky Mountain National Park which was barely 10 minutes to Beaver Meadows entrance. The cabin was tastefully decorated. So many small details great open floor plan and gorgeous kitchen. If you are looking for a space perfectly located in Estes Park minutes walking to downtown but it feels like its still private and minutes from RMNP and come back to soak in a awesome hot tub like we did than this is the place for you. Thanks Brent for making sure our stay was amazing! Great host!
We had a great visit to Elk Cabin with our family of 4 (mom, dad, 2 teenagers). Everyone had plenty of space to relax, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The location was great, we were able to walk into town for dinner and shopping. RMNP was a short, easy drive. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful location. Easy to walk into town and not have to drive and park. Elk walked through the property on our first morning there. The cabin was super clean and everything worked well. 10/10!!
This home was perfect for our weekend getaway! Great location to town, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, and great communication with owner were some of the wonderful perks of this house! We would love to stay here again anytime we're in Estes! Thanks so much Brent!
We were a small group of mostly “older” adults, and were very happy with our stay in this Estes Park Cabin. The house was clean and spacious, beds comfortable. The kitchen was large and well stocked with the basics but also extras such as storage containers and insulated shopping/picnic bag. The upstairs and downstairs sitting areas gave us plenty of room to stretch out. The hot tub was perfect after a full day of hiking. The location is great for walking into town for shopping and restaurants, and is an easy drive to the entrance to RMNP. Communication with Brent was excellent. An added bonus was the elk wandering through the grounds.
The property was exactly like the description
It’s within walking distance of everything and very close to the park entrance
Everything worked I would definitely stay here again
This cabin was the perfect location for our post-holiday getaway! Walk to Main Street, hikes just a short drive away. The hot tub was awesome! Definitely would stay here again.
This was our 3rd year in a row staying at this house over Thanksgiving! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed and it’s the perfect distance to town/the grocery store and Rocky Mountain Nat’l Park! Highly recommend!
We loved staying here. Clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners were kinda and responsive. Patio with a beautiful view for dinner or morning coffee. So close to town - loved not having to drive while we stayed here. Highly recommend!
Property was just as described. Had a great stay. Super convenient and close to everything. Daily mule deer visits. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Owner info was helpful. We'd love to return.
We loved our stay at this spacious cabin within walking distance of downtown Estes. The property is modern with a rustic cabin feel. Plenty of space on rwo levels for family and friends. Private hot tub was wonderful!
This house was perfect for our family of 4 but would easily accommodate another couple. Very clean and cozy. We didn't spend a bunch of time in the house due to exploring RMNP but when we did we were soaking in the hot tub looking up at the stars and listening the elk bugle. Such a great spot.
Elk Cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is very clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with owner was fantastic. Could not recommend more! We will be back
Our family of 6 stayed here and we were very comfortable! The house is located in a great location near but not too close to the Main Street in Estes Park. Brent was very responsive, also! I appreciate how well he prepared the house ahead of our visit.
