Although a very "No Frills" hotel, it was comfortable and quiet and was a great location. Owners and staff were polite.

Comfortable for the price
Full size fridge in room was a surprise. Didn't get to take advantage of it but kept my fridge pack frozen for next day. Would have liked to be able to adjust water flow from shower fixture. Exterior door could use weather stripping to be more energy efficient. Heater quiet on low speed. Would stay there again if I am not pulling utility trailer for train show as parking room limited. Lots of fast food amenities close by.

Always a little nervous when it comes to Motels. My wife is a bit of a hotel snob, and she has never stayed in a motel before. We were both very happy with the cleanliness of our room. Service from the owners were fantastic and you can tell your happiness with their motel is very important to them!

Wow! We will definitely return. It was super clean, smelled great upon entering the unit, was very cozy, and quiet. The price compared to other similar stays in Barrie, cannot be beat. The staff was super courteous and helpful. Definitely beyond my expectations.

Bed was HARD, like sleeping on wooden planks, plus it was so high it was almost impossible to get into or off of. Wi-Fi password did not word. There were no instructions on how to work the TV. There were no paper cups in the room. Also, there was only a night table on one side of the bed. We were very disappointed. Only good thing was the location, close to Base Borden.

Room was clean but needs updating. Walls are very thin, neighbors where up at 4am and you could hear their tv like it's in your room. Bed are not very comfortable, and noisy. Pillows are lumpy. It did have a good size fridge and microwave. It's suppose to be non smoking but there was an ashtray with cigarettes in it right outside the door of our room. No spoon for coffee but a fork instead which was weird. We'll not be returning to Angus Inn Motel.

We apologize for the inconvenience. The rooms are non-smoking, however, guests are permitted to smoke outside, which is why the ash tray is provided if they chose to do so. In the area for a hockey tournament. Place looks dated in the pictures. I was a little hesitant but it was clean, and reasonably priced. Lots of restaurants within walking or a quick drive

Take your money somewhere else - do not book here
The walls are paper thin, my neighbors played music and chatted at the octave of 20 all night. Even w ear plugs, I cld hear everything. Heard every word they were saying. I also smelled marijuana on a continuous basis and heard the lighters flicking. The bed was plywood basically. I slept maybe two hours. Horrible pillows and “blankets”. Really bad experience. Will never return and will never recommend. Went for hockey tournament for my son, booked a last minute motel for the night and definitely will choose somewhere else next time.

An older building that has some updates and renovations. It was clean and pretty quiet. The bed was a little hard but linens were spotlessly clean. Coffee was awful :-)

Decor looks somewhat aged, otherwise all was OK. Clean room, well working shower, comfortable beds, TV remote with fresh batteries, very polite man at check in. The room smelled of burned wood, I thought it was cigarettes but the man at the reception desk assured me that it was a non-smoking room, so no clue what that was. I did not like surroundings, all was beaten up asphalt/cement around the hotel, not a single tree. Our room was just by the pool and some very large family decided to party, play music and yell until almost 11pm.

Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was payment was made by debit and there was a request for an additional hood on a credit card. Our family doesn't have one, so not knowing ahead of time that this was an issue was a disappointment. The manager was able to fix this and the room was rented.

Close to lots of restaurants. House keeping came each day to clean room and make beds without having to ask them to do it like lots of hotels are still doing even though COVID ended eons ago. Very reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

The motel was OK for the price. Clean with friendly staff. There was even a pool that we didn't use. What was missing was a plug for our car. Even a normal 110v plug would have done the job. Angus is a really ugly little town with every fast food know to men but it's not that far from Wasaga Beach and Collingwood and the price is reasonable.
