The room was pretty basic and dated. But clean. The bathroom was good with large walkin shower. The pool was good and the kids had a good time. The area is sketchy, wouldnt walk around there late at night. Early morning was fine, about a 30 minute walk to downtown.

This place is a gem! The breakfast rotated every day during our four day stay and is more of a buffet. There is something for everyone and it is available until 10:30am plus plenty of seating available. There is a piggy bank for tips which they deserve! The staff are friendly and great. Can’t beat the location if you want to stay downtown near the harbour. Not a high end hotel but rooms are modern enough and there is signage that they are updating hotel. We were there to see family so not really time for pool and hot tub which they do not have if that’s what you are looking for. There are no negatives about this hotel.
