View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day."

"For the most part we loved our stay. The view is incredible with the sound of seabirds and waves in the background a great way to wake up. We didn't see any penguins but plenty of willy wagtails and shorebirds. I think the addition of Wi-Fi (if available in Emu Bay) would have been great only due to the unavailability of a connection anywhere on the island for anyone other than Telstra customers. "This property has great character. Victoria has a very creative and inspired touch in decorating and detailing the renovation of the property. It’s quirky, fun and extremely comfortable and well appointed! The bed is superior in comfort. Kylie Koala is right above the cabin comfortably perched in the gum tree outside. "Cabin is tired and the lounge appeared to be dirty. Check in was not done personally but via phone text….. “cabin is unlocked and key is on the table”. From our cabin we had a great view of the rubbish bins, highlight was when a group of kangaroos visited the bins. Without a car I would have considered it to be too far from the township to shop or dine out. No outside facilities like a BBQ or even a laundry. Not a place I would return to."

"This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly."
