Had a lovely downstairs room beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Super view over the river and boats. Breakfast was great too and no problems when asking for gluten free bread. Points faibles : Service et personnel #### Overpriced, disappointing breakfast I don’t mind self check-in at all and this one worked well. The room was lovely though with no view at all I would class it as overpriced. Breakfast didn’t make up for that whatsoever. The cooked breakfast was cold on both mornings we stayed and the bread was dry so my sausage sandwich was far from enjoyable. Little touches could be improved on eg more than one toilet roll for a couple staying for 2 nights. When paying as much as we did for the stay I don’t think rationing the sheets per toilet visit is very fair. Also, if I had realised that there was a need to grab a croissant at breakfast before the other guests took one, rather like having to be up early for a sunbed abroad, I would have got in there! Sadly, every opening and closing of door below goes through you as you try to sleep and you can pretty much hear every word being spoken in the room below All in all I would say the stay was an expensive lesson in not selecting to stay here. The location is lovely right on the river.
