Get away from it all in this riverfront cabin and make lasting memories with your family or friends. Relax on the back porch, enjoy the views of the river. Step out to the backyard, which is situated right on the river, where you can play corn hole, make s'mores by the fire pit. In the summer go tubing down or kayaking down the river, play in the water, and fishing poles right from the backyard. After a day of fun, throw some burgers on the grill and eat on the outdoor dining table while soaking up the amazing views of the river from the back porch. Just need to relax?? Enjoy the NEW hot tub on the back deck overlooking the river. It is so peaceful to simply sit on the front porch to watch the deer gather in the front yard throughout the day. You'll be amazed at how close the deer come up to the front steps. Inside the cabin you will feel right at home. The living area features a comfortable sofa and armchairs arranged around a stone fireplace, perfect for cozying up on chilly evenings. Adjoining the living space is a well-equipped kitchenette, complete with modern appliances and everything you need to whip up delicious meals with ease. The kitchen even offers a coffee bar. There are two large bedrooms. On the main level, the second bedroom features two twin beds with access to the back porch. There is a full bath on the main level with a tub shower combo. The Primary (king) is on the upper level featuring its own private balcony overlooking the river where you can savor your morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the river or unwind with your favorite beverage. The primary bath has a full bath with separate shower and jetted tub. The large loft overlooks the family room, has a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping and gaming area with NEW foosball table, checkers, and board games. Details were attended to including a fully stocked kitchen, kayaks and tubes for the river, games for inside. The groups of deer that came in the mornings and evenings were so interesting to watch. We spent our days hiking nearby trails, tubing the river and playing board games. My daughter adored the deer, and both kids had a blast jumping off the bank into the river. We enjoyed fires on a couple of evenings and had family movie nights every night. The house was immaculate, and having a washer/dryer was a great bonus! We were a bit surprised by the closeness of neighbors on both sides and across the river, as it wasn't clear from the listing photos, but it didn’t detract from our experience. Wish I had brought fishing gear, perfect place to fish. Enjoyed back deck with it’s great view. Suggestion..would have been nice to have had a couple of comfortable chairs on back deck. This home is a delightfully perfect spot to get away for a long weekend or to make a week of it. So many fun things to do on the property! S’mores? Got them! Fire pit? Check. Hot tub? Check. The lot is also pretty flat/level which is good for smaller kids. Jenn has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The well stocked kitchen and grill on the deck made it easy to cook several meals at the cabin. The beds slept great too. Jenn also has a binder full of things to do in the area which is really nice for first time visitors like us. My kids loved the foosball table on the loft and hot tub! Exceeded our expectations. So relaxing. We cooked thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed in the kitchen. All the furniture was very comfortable and cozy. We had fun on the playground at fish trap park, exploring the woods, and shopping in the adorable downtown area. We will definitely be back. ##### Jessica M. We’ve stayed several times in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area and this was our favorite weekend getaway. Jenn went above and beyond helping us reschedule this trip after some unforeseen events in our family. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a basket with coffee pods, creamer, snacks and everything needed for s’mores. The deer visited each morning and evening, and we saw several fawns that still had their spots. Canadian geese came by, floating down the river. The hot tub and fire pit were ready to go. Jenn was very responsive to our silly questions regarding the thermostat and lighting the fireplace! Thank you, Jenn! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen is provided and then some. The house is situated in a great area and is within a very short drive to downtown Ellijay, all the wineries, the Apple orchards and even Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the hot tub, the outside fire pit, the indoor fireplace, but especially feeding the NUMEROUS deer that came through every morning and every evening. It was amazing how calm and docile they were and they loved the apples fresh from the Apple orchards! This was a special trip with my sisters to celebrate my retirement and everything was just perfect! We hope to go back next year and start making it an annual trip! ##### Tammy L. A lovely, cozy cabin with absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a weekend getaway. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. Great attention was paid to even the smallest details. It was IMMACULATELY clean. The decks were a perfect place to enjoy a meal, morning coffee, or to simply relax and take in the (many) deer and river view. The location was peaceful and quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, we had to inquire about the mattress, and actually purchased one within hours of returning home! Jenn was most helpful with providing information ahead of time, as well as being very easy to communicate with during our stay. We came from states away to celebrate a parents' 75th birthday.
