There is plenty of room for a family to spread out and be comfortable. The wrap around deck is perfect for morning coffee and the wildlife (especially the birds) are amazing to watch. The hosts were easily accessible and checked in on us on Saturday morning. You are within 15 to 20 minutes of anything you could want to do in Elijay and Blue Ridge is also a very reasonable drive away. We had so much fun and the accommodations were super nice. The property is very clean and well appointed. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect for our activities. The owner was so accessible and friendly. The hosts were communicative and responsive to messages. My only disappointment was the “private lakefront” was much more like a small muddy pond. I’d swim in almost anything and I wouldn’t put a foot in it, definitely not kayaking or swimming.
