Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed. CHECK IN 4PM CHECK OUT 10AM Please Note: if you have over 6 guests up to the max occupancy of 8 in your party, during the online booking process you will need to click the box Guest Fee which will add $25 to your reservation. This property is located in the Coosawattee River Resort which means you are able to utilize the amenities of the resort including the Rec Center with indoor olympic size heated pool, exercise room, arcade room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, putt putt golf, picnic areas at various parks within the resort and the 3 outdoor swimming pools (during summer season) at no additional cost to you for authorized groups up to 8 people. Please note, it is out of control should one or any of these amenities not be available during your stay and there should be no expectation of any refunds should this occur. None of our properties are within walking distance to the rec center and depending on location, could be a 2 minute to 15 minute drive. Edgewater Dreams, beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable, this cabin is a destination hotspot! Sitting right on the banks of the Coosawattee River in a popular Ellijay Resort Community, where fishing, tubing and kayaking are enjoyed by many, this cabin provides the perfect place to enjoy all that this area has to offer. Sit on the large screened in back porch enjoying your favorite beverage, perhaps watching a family of geese make their way across the river or look for that boat with the serious fisherman, intent on pulling in one of the bass, cats or of course, native trout this river is known for. The landscaped back yard is perfect for a barbeque, enjoying a campfire or just hanging out. The large hot tub is ready for soaking and relaxing, the perfect end to a great day. Inside this cabin you will feel right at home. The great room has a 42" flat screen, a beautiful stone gas fireplace, plenty of room so that no one feels cramped. The well equipped kitchen offering a Keurig Coffee Maker (and standard coffee maker too) is convenient and functional. There are two large bedrooms, the King Master is on the main level with access to the screened in porch. The 2nd bedroom (Queen) is on the upper level with it's own private balcony overlooking the river. The large loft overlooking the Great Room has 2 trundles for additional sleeping. There are two full bathrooms, one on the main level and one on the upper level, both with tub shower combos. Access to this cabin is fantastic, all paved and only 7 minutes from downtown Ellijay even though you feel like you are miles away from everything. The cabin was very clean and tastefully decorated. When walking in you feel the coziness. Everything you would ever need for cooking, beds and pillows sooo cozy, and so close to town of Ellijay in case you forgot something. I can’t wait to stay there again. House is absolutely beautiful. How thoughtful! We have stayed in many cabins, the gift was a first for us and meant a lot. Thank you! The paved road to the cabin was awesome! We had snow predicted on our last day. We called to see if we could book an extra night if needed. The Representative was so accommodating! Everything was clean. We needed nothing as far as kitchen necessities. Watching the deer and the geese was cool. Listening to the sounds of the River was very relaxing. There was a Dollar General about 2 miles from the cabin if we needed anything. Very impressed with cleanliness of the inside of the property. Sheets, towels all smelled great. I brought my 2 favorite pots and favorite cooking utensils because I'm picky but the kitchen looked well stocked. The couch is not comfortable at all so I sat on a pillow. The scenery was beautiful and the deer and wildlife were plentiful. I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering on Amazon and it was delivered to a locker (so I never found my merchandise). So don't order anything during your stay for delivery. The outside of the property could use a little more frequent maintenance- nothing major, just cobwebs, leaves and branches, some yard maintenance, a damaged outdoor chaise lounge chair, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The inside was very clean and had everything you would need. You could not sit outside in peace. Across the street a house was under construction. The first day there was only 1 person and 1 piece of equipment but the rest of the other days there were 4-5 construction trucks and very load noise. We could not sit out side and enjoy our coffee. We ended up stuck inside because it was so noisy. For the amount we paid I really would have appreciated a heads up or some offer of a discount for the noise. Also the outside could use sprucing up. Cobwebs and leaves all over the screened in porch. You could tell they had been there for a long time. Also I should have checked on location. There was a house a few fight away from it. No privacy. From relaxing in the hot tub to tubing down the river to fishing to swimming and playing putt putt golf and pickleball at the rec center to rocking on the back porch while watching the river and geese, deer, hawks, and other wildlife, we all got to experience some of our favorite things. The cabin is very well appointed with all you need to enjoy a great time in the North Georgia mountains. This was a three generation vacation that we will not forget! This cabin surpassed our expectations and was the perfect place to spend a weekend with our kids, 2 of their friends, and our small dog. Loved the easy access to the river, the playground/public space ( a few doors down), the hot tub, the fire pit and the screened porch. House was well-appointed and had everything we could possibly need. My only complaint is that the large amount of goose poop in the backyard made that space of limited use, but I understand that may be one of those unavoidable facts of nature!
