Lapwing is a beautiful, dog friendly lodge set along side of the canal, the first of 3 other lodges.
Lapwing is a beautiful, dog friendly lodge set along side of the canal, the first of 3 other lodges. There’s ample parking. The enclosed decking area was perfect for our dog, who loved watching the boats pass and watching his human brother enjoy the private hot tub. The lodge has everything you need from towels, gowns, slippers, toiletries to dog essentials (bowls,blankets) to all your self catering needs.

The lodge was clean and tidy,milk and half dozen fantastic free range eggs provided.
The lodge was clean and tidy,milk and half dozen fantastic free range eggs provided.The owner called with some sausages and to see if we had settled in ok and was everything to our satisfaction.He was also very knowledgeable and had many personal recommendations of where the best eatery were.Would definitely go back the setting was so peaceful.
