Once a laundromat, the history is in the details, built in 1928 it now has been turned into a beautiful lodge. Stay and relax by the river or explore nearby attractions and sightseeing- From Garden of the Gods, hiking the Shawnee National Forest to Cave-in-Rock, located right on the Ohio Scenic Byway. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The fried catfish on the river was excellent but is closed the first part of the week. We cooked meat purchased from the little store next door one night and it was delicious. Very high quality. We were hiking some of the paths in Shawnee and enjoyed our stay.
