"If I could give a higher star review I would. The room was lovely, as was the view from the balcony. The breakfast was simple, fresh and delicious. "This was a most charming boutique hotel we loved coming home to on our 5 day stay in Catania. Our room was huge and comfortable and the outside space was great for an aperol spritz and cheese from the market at the end of the evening. It was too cold to use the patio, but it looked so inviting. Breakfast was both hot and cold with made to order eggs, bacon, and cappuccino. We learned that Liberty means art nouveau, and the hotel was a beautiful reflection of that. It was a home until early 1900 and only has 18 rooms. The staff was kind and helpful both at breakfast and the front desk. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Catania. "

"we had a one night stay in the Manganelli Palace. The staff were exceptionally helpfull and friendly, which made up for the rather run down internal condition of the room and some of the corridors. My bathroom in particular was in need of a refurbishment as there was black mould around the bath. It was clean but run down. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast good. I would stay here again because it is so centrally located and the staff were so lovely."
