El Rancho de las Golondrinas Tours and Activities

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was excellent, within a short walking distance of popular attractions. The pet-friendly accommodations were a big plus. We especially appreciated the spacious room with a separate sitting area and the cozy fireplace. The property was quiet, clean, decorated nice and well maintained. Having complimentary coffee, water, and tea was a nice touch, and the Brewing Co. just across the parking lot was very convenient. We would happily stay here again! Breakfast no longer offered.

The property itself was great. Loved the history, the art, the amenities. Lobby was a very busy place regardless of the time of day. The room was exceptionally clean. The problem came when 10 minutes (literally) after we checked out I realized that I had left my bathing suit in the bathroom. I called the front desk who was less than helpful, and they immediately dumped me in the housekeeping lost and found voicemail. I then returned to the hotel and was told by housekeeping that everything that is found in the room is put down "the chute" and would eventually sort itself out. This was a black bathing suit that was in a sea of white towels and white sheets-pretty easy to spot. I went and spoke with the front desk in person, they said they would check with housekeeping and would notify me "IF" they found it. I returned several hours later only to be told that they had still not found it and they would call me if they did. It is absolutely my fault that I left the suit, but when paying over $400 a night for a room in addition to tipping housekeeping you would think that they could be more helpful. Very unimpressed with the level of service.
