Great place. Quite and relaxing. House is very clean and comfortable with great beachfront. Just the sound of the ocean here. Private beach walkable to Los Cerritos beach. Fred is a great host. Very much enjoyed my stay.

Amazing location!
We loved our stay at Los Cerritos Beach Palace. The property is water and energy conscious (solar), so do not expect long, hot showers, a “gourmet” kitchen or other “high end” (aka wasteful) amenities. Still, there is wi-fi available, and everything you need for a beautiful beach stay. We did not have a car, while one is recommended, and we were able to walk to a little market for ice and water and down to the Los Cerritos beach bar for lovely drinks and fish tacos. We did not do too much other exploring, but there are other places near Cerritos Beach worth checking out. Whale watching and sunsets were both amazing from the property. One can simply walk down to the surf and watch the manta rays play in the waves. If you are really lucky, you will meet neighbor Tyler, who fishes from the shore. We had an unforgetable impromptu fishing experience with him! Our two humble suggestions would be a toaster and a milder (less-to-unscented) laundry detergent. When we arrived, the whole house was filled with the smell (pleasing to some, no doubt, but too strong for us) of the detergent used on all of the linens. We aired out the sheets, blankets and towels that we used on the first day. By the second night, it was a much less intense aromatic experience. Overall, if you are looking for a low-key beach get away, rent this place and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Fred and Lucienne (Griz and Lucy) - highlight of our trip for sure!

Beautiful beach experience

Fun safe place
Great location, about a mile from Cerritos Beach, 5 minute drive. Nice and quiet in the neighborhood. Fred gave a good run down of where to get groceries and how the local neighborhoods work. Perfect for Mexico and totally met my expectations. Griz and Lucy did their jobs! (house dogs)

Fabulous location fronting onto great surf beach, with boogie boards and beach games to keep you entertained, and lots of seating and shade options. Large, comfortable rooms with lots of space to spread out, and large kitchen for meal prep. A fabulous getaway spot!

Weird layout, only 1 private bedroom, but on the beach with great view
Pros: Good price for being right on the beach. Waking up to whales swimming by the front windows can't be beat! The space is generally functional and the beds are comfortable. Cons: Lack of privacy! Only 1 bedroom has a door. I understood that 1 bedroom was semi-private, but both bathrooms can only be accessed by walking through a 'true' bedroom. So, it was awkward for our group (2 couples, 1 single person) - The single person in the 'semi-private' room had to walk through our (also doorless) bedroom to access the bathroom. Very very odd. And no light in the shower. One night, the dogs upstairs barked endlessly all night, but I think because the host was gone. Also, the location is sort of surfable, but the best surf spot is a 15 min drive at the point of Cerritos beach. Be aware that there are no stores or restaurants in easy walking distance.

Katie sorry you felt that way.Usually tge 3 rd bed is for soneones kids or a group of friends qho give up a llittle for the 3rd bed user. I rexall he was a late add on by you.I guess I need to check listing info.

Best beach in Todos Santos
Fred and his wife were amazing hosts. Their dogs Griz and Lucy were darling. This home is a basic beach house with everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The star of the show is the private beach! The seating and shade are perfect. You could go all day and see a dozen people max. Plenty of boogie boards and towels. Fred is a great host with lots of local knowledge. Thankful he shares ed his home with our family.

What a great place! Terrific location! It could use some screen doors and ventilation as it is stuffy. Sweet owner and dogs, but they bark in the night and early in the morning, so didn't sleep well. A wonderful time, very comfortable.

We were travelling to the Baja to vacation with our adult children for surfing and fun in the sun. The Cerritos Beach Palace was very comfortable and we felt safe in the area. The owner, Fred, was very accomodating and provided a few extras for our convenience. He was a great host and very responsive to messages. Fred's dogs, Grizz and Lucy were very friendly and quiet. We were staying in the large main floor suite right on the beach, which had a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and 3 showers + 1 outdoor shower, and commom area to house us comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and the ammenities were great for our group of 6. There were multiple seating areas overlooking the beach with lounge chairs, 2 cabanas, hammocks and patio with plenty of shade. We walked 2 km. to the Cerritos public beach each day where there was a restaurant and lots of activity. The beach is beautiful out front but the waves are very powerful (for surfing), so not recommended for small children. (Public Beach is better for children). Some updates could be made to the outdoor patio furniture, but overall, we loved the location and the space was a 10! I would definately recommend for a nice peaceful getaway and hope to get back to Cerritos soon!

Fred & Gaia are super relaxed and helpful. Being right on the beach was great. Bring house slippers so you don’t take sandy shoes inside. Outdoor and indoor furnishings could be freshened up, but they are functional. Be prepared for heat/humidity in August. I had a lot of questions and then we needed help when we lost power - Fred & Gaia were friendly and responsive. Very fun time in Cerritos! Thank you

Lots of space, beautiful location. Check in was not smooth, but worked out. GAIA WAS VERY NICE. We had to go away and wait 2 hours until the space was ready. after it rained, we lost power on and off each morning which was not too big of a deal but a small inconvenience. Wasn't able to contact Gaia about it, but the issue seemed to self resolve. Early on, the Toilet leaked all over the floor, problems were resolved, but we had to clean/mop which seemed unusual. Was coming from the tank, not dirty water so not too big of a deal really. We had a party and our host was super helpful, offered us bbq charcoal and whatever we needed, very sweet. Dogs were really great! But, all of those little things were minor and we enjoyed the time and space, well worth it!!

Looking for a place to chill out and have some great downtime!! This is it! Fred and Gaia are so nice and accommodating!! And LOVED Lucy and Griz and Moose and the puppy!! Beach front living / crash of the waves / No one around! As stated basic lodging but everything you need! We bought groceries and cooked in and ate out some too! Cocktails at Cerritos Beach Inn (happy hr 2 for 1 drinks) 2-6pm / coffee and breakfast at Baja Beans - delicious pastry and pancakes! And a drink at Art and Beer! Huge margaritas very strong/ interesting place! Last night pizza at Pizzeria el Potrero! Delicious pizza made with fresh cut herbs! And don’t forget Shrimp Tacos at Barracuda Cantina! Thanks for the great week! We throughly enjoyed it!!

Still The Best
If privacy, location, view and beachfront out your front door matter, do not hesitate to book this gem!! Jonathon , I was just trying to give you guys some shade from sun.Putting up quick sunscreen was all we where doing. I asked if you wanted shade. Holding a ladder for 15 minutes was all, just trying to make your stay more pleasant. Getting a sunburn early in a stay is no fun.If the last hurricane didn't destroy my 2 beach palapas all would have been good. Thankfully I just purchased materials for 2 new palapas today.All is good.Thanks

Great spot, fairly simple.
This beach house was in a great location- about 20-25 min walk to the main surfing area at Cerritos beach. It’s a bummer the hurricane took out some of the cabanas and hammocks out front, but the one that’s still standing is a nice place to read and hangout. The fire pit is awesome, and you can’t beat being right on the ocean! The amenities included inside the house were pretty basic, but it was sufficient for what we needed. Fred is awesome and his dogs are so friendly! We would stay there again.

Awesome location!
This is such an awesome getaway spot! Steps away from the ocean with miles of empty beach. The house is fully run on solar and there were a few nights when power went out. May have been bc cloudy days? Fred was super responsive and really worked to resolve issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for us
I don't think there is a better spot on the beach than Fred's. His place is about an hour out of Cabo and is very nice, very functional. Don't confuse nice with fancy. Also, if your not a dog person, keep looking. I (less so for my wife) absolutely fell in love with his dogs, Griz and Lucy, so it was great!

Great affordable place in a beautiful ocean-front location.
We had a great 3 night stay here. Fred was very helpful with sharing information about local offerings. The house is steps away from the ocean and although the water was rougher than we wanted to swim in, we spent many hours enjoying the beach - whale watching, walking and just relaxing. Cerritos Beach was calmer for swimming and is in walking distance on the sand. The house is comfortably furnished inside and out. The big windows facing the beach even provided a view from the dining table of a breeching whale. We found this to be a very affordable option to avoid the crowds and enjoy the benefits of an ocean-front home.

Fred’s place was A wonderful experience! Location was amazing… About 15 minutes to Todo Santos for great shopping and food. A beautiful walk down the beach right outside your front door! The sound of the waves crashing was over the top! The place was very clean, the water pressure was great the bed was comfortable… With all the comforts of home. Fred was very helpful in recommending places to go… And then on top of it they had two amazing dogs that were extremely well behaved that would come and visit if you wanted them to… Which we were slightly homesick for our dog so it was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying at this place.

Two BIG Thumbs Up!
As an active family of four with two college age children, we were looking for an off the beaten track beachfront launch pad for a southern Baja two week break. We hoped to fill much of our time with easy access to fishing, surfing and snorkeling. Much to our delight, that is precisely what we found! First of all, Fred's property is an absolute GEM. Located directly on the beach, it's a rare, private slice of Baja - at a reasonable rate - which is hard to come by! The house is clean, comfortable, well appointed, and we had everything we needed, including bonus toys - boogie boards, surf boards, bocci ball, and horse shoes - all of which we happily utilized. Coming from wintry Idaho, we really appreciated all of the outdoor living space and furniture available so that we could be outside as much as possible. The owner, Fred, was terrific about communicating and was extremely helpful both before our arrival AND while we were there. With decades of local experience, Fred offers invaluable resources and tips on where to go and can recommend the right tour operators for day excursions. The location of the property on Cerritos Beach situates you within an easy driving distance from both Cabo San Lucas and La Paz and all the beautiful beaches to explore in between. The nearest small town of Pescadero is delightful and nearby Todos Santos is a wonderfully artsy community with great food. Fred and Lucienne were lovely hosts; always friendly, helpful and pleasant. We truly had a FANTASTIC two weeks. If you are looking for a great value outside of the resort scene and enjoy a more rural experience, look no further. We can't wait to return! THANK YOU Fred and Lucienne!

Quiet beach all to ourselves. Waves are a little rough for easy swimming out front, but the surf beach north (Cerritos) is great (about 30 minute walk or short drive). Very nice to be able to rent boogie boards direct from Fred. 2 nice dogs on the property. Property definitely has an old school surfer vibe. Recommend getting groceries in Cabo first, and ask Fred for recommendations for local spots and beaches, he has a ton of info!

My friends and I could not have been happier with our two weeks in Cerritos at Fred's place. The accommodations were clean and welcoming, the beds comfortable and inviting. Nice property. Clean. Spacious for family of 3. Great walks on the beach right out the door. 1.5 miles to north Cerritos beach walking...nice place to eat half way there! Westside surf school "Juan " and his guys great instructors. Sunset awesome in front of house! Will return again for sure!!! Fred is a nice guy who is more than willing to share his knowledge of the area and has good tourism tips and went above and beyond to make sure everything was good!

Casa Gaia and Studio Gaia were perfect.
We loved the place! We chose to stay in Casa Gaia and Studio Gaia, which are both beautiful. The open layout of the upstairs is wonderful and the beach is right out front of the property. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners were kind and very helpful. I definitely suggest staying here.

Beautiful slice of heaven!
Perfect location to get away in the Cerritos/Pescadero area. The property is well maintained, right on the beach and has lots of creature comforts to really help you let go and relax. Fred is a great host and made things very easy. I would definitely stay here again!
