### Calming Retreat

Enjoy the comforts of our spacious 3 bed 3 bath 1600 sq ft home. With each bedroom situated on it's own wing of the house, this open layout allows up to 8 guests\* the luxuries of comfort, space and privacy reminiscent of "home." Our Master suite houses a king size bed, walk in closet, 6 drawer dresser, sitting area, dual sink master bath with sunken 6.5 ft wide floor to ceiling tiled luxury shower. The junior suite houses a queen size bed, comfortably sleeping up to 2 adults. We call this a junior suite as this room offers it's own full bath with a walk in shower, entertainment area and is adjacent to the back house entry door. The third bedroom houses a queen size trundle bed comfortably sleeping up to 3 guests (trundle pull out is a twin size). The third bathroom conveniently sits adjacent to the 3rd bedroom and offers a standard size tub/shower. The dining, entertainment, kitchen area are combined into a large open inclusive space. Choose to sit at the counter for a quick bite or bar height table for your meals. A bar height highchair can be found in the front closet for your little to join you at the table or to use at your convenience. The highchair can be converted to a small table and chair instead of full highchair, we have found this to be a great activity table for a toddler. Our home offers a whole house water softening and filtration system that your hair, skin and tastebuds will assuredly enjoy. A reverse osmosis water spout can be found at the kitchen sink for convenient glass filling. Additionally, our home features a tankless water heater ensuring hot water on demand and never having to worry about running out. Smart TVs in the master suite and Entertainment room allow for guests to sign into private accounts for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and others of the like. The Junior Suite houses a Playstation 4 and a few games along with the ability to sign into entertainment apps mentioned prior. A stocked and locked bar fridge is available for guests for an additional fee. This fridge cannot be accessed without gaining access to the key which is locked in the security safe, guests will need to request access and provide proof of age before key access is granted. High Speed Wi-fi with wi-fi boosters in multiple points of the home ensure multiple streaming, web surfing, game playing can all happen at the same time from any spot in the home. Enjoy the outdoor living space when weather allows while children or pets play in the yard. Guests are responsible for ensuring outdoor furniture covers are removed/replaced should outdoor space be utilized.   
Guests will not be allowed access to the garage. However, guests may park in the gated driveway (located at the rear of the home), 1 alley parking directly behind privacy wall near driveway, or 2 street parking spaces directly in front of the home.  
Guests have access to an XL washer and dryer, we kindly ask that our guests do not wash any large items that may cause damage or an imbalance to the machines. This includes but is not limited to: bed comforters larger than a twin, military boots/pro gear, rugs, heavy winter coats and clothing loads in excess of capacity guidelines. Guests will be financially responsible for any damages and/or repairs caused due to violating this policy.

\*\* Dog Policies\*\*  
We happily welcome responsible dog families into our home. We DO NOT allow cats or any other animals. We do not have a weight limit on dogs, however we do not allow more than 2 dogs be in our home. Dog guests must already be existing family members and may not be acquired while guests of our home. Guests will need to provide proof of current vaccinations and pet information including breed on all dogs prior to check-in. We DO NOT breed restrict, we need this information on record in case of any issues that may arise while you are a guest in our home. A small dog run along the side of the house attaches to the backyard and provides a space for your dogs to shelter without access to the backyard if necessary. El Paso City animal laws require that any pets left outdoors for more than an hour must have shelter, food and water. We have provided dog shelters in both the dog run and backyard as well as two bowls for outdoor use only. It is the guests responsibility to ensure city laws are followed regarding food and water. The artificial turf in the backyard makes it incredibly easy to take care of pet waste. We kindly ask that dog owners spray down the artificial turf prior to check-out & that dogs not be allowed on any furniture in the home. Should it be found that guests have not honored these house rules a fee will be charged for pet feces removal and cleaning of turf, professional cleaning of furniture, and/or any other expenses required to return items to original condition.

Great place, easy check in / check out Our visits to El Paso are to see family. So for us the dinning table was a little small at dinner. That being said the living area was spacious plenty of seating. We have young kids so not having a park within walking distance was something I had not researched. We're from the northeast, so the weather would have been great to get the kids outside playing. Location does have a Golds gym nearby (no kids club at that time) very convenient only a few minutes away. We did find some board games so that helped keep the kids entertained.

This was an amazing house! The was very very clean! It has all the modern appliances and furniture. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. This is an amazing property. When I go to El Paso Texas again, I will book this house if it's available. We enjoyed our stay so much, we stayed in extra day. The owner made it very convenient to do so. Also my son's mother and father in-law lives right around the corner and they walked to the house every day. We enjoyed every moment. I definitely recommend if you go to El Paso Texas to please stay at this property. You will enjoy your experience. Thank you Julia for everything!

This home was beautiful! The pictures really don’t do it justice. Everything was immaculate and the beds were super comfy. The location was perfect for us since we were visiting my son who’s Army base was a short distance away. I would definitely stay here again!

#### Excellent amenities and location

My colleagues and I were working temporarily at Ft. Bliss and needed a place where we could come home to and unwind for about 3 months. This was a perfect find as it really did feel like a home, close to a lot of stores and restaurants, safe for my female colleague to walk at night on her own, and close to the highway. Julia was also and excellent host and constantly checked in to make sure our stay continued to be excellent. 10/10 would say here again!

The property owner was extremely kind, understanding, respectful and responsive to all of our needs. This came at an extremely difficult time in our family’s life. #### BEWARE! House of Horrors

Myself and 2 colleagues were in El Paso helping to fight COVID-19\. We were working 14 hour days 6-7 days per week at the hospital and only basically only using this house to sleep and shower. None of us are from El Paso, we were flown in from all over the country to assist FEMA in fighting the virus. So when I read the last review that mentioned the cameras I was happy. I thought we’d be working long hours, many times one of us would be there alone if the others were working and this would be a great safety measure. Until I realized that the house was filled with listening devices, cameras, motion detectors that were not for safety but for stalking. If I had time to call the police on the owner I would have. (I literally was working 10 days straight at times). This was a terrifying experience. The owner also attempted to extort us. I asked her prior to renting if she offered any discount for front line workers. She said “No, but due to your unique circumstances I won’t charge you for extra guests.” There were 3 of us at the time so that is exactly what I put on the application. A 4th nurse came into town and spent one night as she looked for other housing. Keep in mind this is advertised as a 3 bedroom 3 full bath home that sleeps 8\. I was not in town that night and the 4 of us have never stayed there at one time. Most times there were no more than 2 of us there at once. The owner messaged me asking me if someone else came there and I said yes. Then she said if we didn’t send her hundreds of dollars by midnight we had to be out by 10:30 am. We all were working 14 hour days so 3 nurses having to leave in the middle of their shift to get kicked out of temporary housing is unimaginable. The owner is scary. Clearly there’s a reason that this home isn’t listed on some of the other temporary housing sites. Beware. I never write reviews but I was compelled to write this one because the last person that described the camera situation didn’t make it clear enough. Who knows what she’s doing with all the footage. The monitoring devices we found were hidden. One was behind a mirror in the living room. One was under a bench. There are listening devices on multiple walls and motion devices in the corners. The house isn’t that nice that it requires that much surveillance so who knows what’s she’s doing with all of the footage. This was a true nightmare a total scam. We left early and let her keep the remaining money.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is nicely updated with large TVs and located in a quiet neighborhood not far from restaurants and hiking. We could get to anything in El Paso within 30-35 minutes. We would stay here again.

#### Calm and Spacious

Highly recommend a stay at Julia's place. As promised, the Poseidon House was spacious, clean, stylish, and comfortable. Julia was easy to communicate with and having keypad access made checking in and out a breeze. Many of the home features are ample in size including the master bedroom, common areas, and vaulted ceilings. The clean and crisp bedrooms are spaced away from each other for increased privacy and the backyard is tranquil and private. The entire place felt like a second home away from home.

If you want to be monitored like a child, this home is it. The home says up to 8 can be there but if you don’t disclose upfront, the owner will let you know ( via text) she is watching you on her cameras (installed in both front of home and in back of home). She needs to disclose the cameras so people can decide if they want to be spied on. Terrible experience.

Owner excellent at communicating and responds quickly. Home was just as described. Very clean and accessible to everything you need. Enjoyed having a safe and comfortable place to spend time with our son before his deployment. Great location and beautiful home! Hope to return again.
