"A little slice of paradise. The staff were amazing. It was nice to have staff that could also speak English as we know very little Spanish. The grounds were immaculate. The room was spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. The staff was also most accommodating when I accidentally left some personal belongings in our room after checking out in going back to the room and retrieving them for me, including the jewellery that I didn’t even realize I had left behind. There was a wide variety of restaurants to choose from on-site and a variety of pool options, as well as areas on the beach. A most beautiful complex."

"We only spent one night in The Golden Frog but we really enjoyed our limited time there. The hotel staff was friendly, the food at the restaurant was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. Bonus points for our balcony with beautiful views of the lush surroundings and the cute dogs and cats on the grounds. "

"We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there in the first place! It's truly a hidden gem!"
