Gorgeous views from the place, great location. Clean place and friendly staff

Great location, excellent and thoughtful service, restaurant food outstanding.

The clean rooms and beautiful views were a highlight. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, providing excellent information about hikes and other activities. We even had to take a 3:00 a.m. bus, but the staff went above and beyond by packing us a delicious breakfast and leaving it for our early morning departure.

Best breakfast and location and staff

Very cozy and the ability to split the bed into 2 smaller beds were great for my son and I.

A lovely getaway very remote, great hiking, incredible food. An added bonus was the transfer that was booked for us from the eco domes to the airport.

This was a great hotel in a super location at the end of town where many of the trails begin. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was a good size. There was a fridge and room safe as well as TV with good choice of English channels. The hotel has wood floors so you can hear people coming and going in the hallways - not a deal breaker for me. I think the hotel could upgrade the door locks on the rooms....I did not like the fact that I had to use a real key to unlock and lock the door once...

Perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. Georgina was very friendly, attentive and we really appreciated all her advice on hikes and restaurants.

Great hosts, breakfast had a variety of items, very flexible and excellent service

staff is really nice

We had a really nice stay at Vertical Lodge, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The property is simple but for our purposes it worked. The breakfast in the morning was good with decent options. There isn’t a fridge or any cooking amenities in the room but we were allowed to keep a fee things in the main kitchen fridge which worked for us. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay where you’ll mostly be eating out this place is great.

Great and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Water, tea, coffee are available 24/7.

We spent 9 nights at this property, truly our home away from home. This historical estancia has been operated by the same family for 120 years. The owners are welcoming and will make sure to share tips about hikes and other things to do. A couple of hikes can be done right from the estancia. While it is more convenient to have a vehicle, it is possible to walk to town and enjoy great vistas at the same time. Alfredo speaks good English and so does Abril, their charming front desk clerk and...
