Westcord Hotel Eindhoven

"The location is excellent — all within walking distance to the train, downtown shops and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The downside was in the suite we had limited showering privacy, no temperature control in the room (rectified by staff providing a portable heater). The suite we were in had high walls, cement ceiling, and no softness to absorb sounds from other guests. A gentleman in one of the rooms either above, below or beside was on a telephone call that lasted until 2:00 am — he was using a normal tone of voice, but we could hear him. The front desk response in the morning was that we should have called down to them (hindsight); but, we actually didn’t know where to say the voice was coming from. Otherwise our 6 night stay was good to excellent."

"The hotel is perfectly situated right on the open-air Market cultural center of Eindhoven and a short 2 block/5 min. walk to the Centraal Train Station. Pubs and restaurants abound. Yes, the Queen has a few years on her - but is well maintained. Its not the Ritz, but has a quiet charm, comfort and elegance all its own. Our room surprised us in that the 'bathroom' had no toilet. It took us a short minute to find the small, separate "Water Closet (WC)" - that was behind a door we initially thought was a closet - to find the commode as its own WC. The Staff is exceptional and spoke excellent English and very helpful. They loaned us free umbrellas during our stay. If you want something different that is both charming and quaint - then the Queen is your ticket!"

"Nice hotel to stay. Close to city center, restaurants. Very helpful staff. Good WiFi. Breakfast was sufficient, however could be better (fresher) for such level of hotel. Two-day-old leftovers (croissants)"

"Great Location. Good value for the price. Some things are a bit dated, but bathroom seems new and the place is very clean. No breakfast option available. Does not seem to answer phone calls before 3pm."
