My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here; it was much fancier than we had expected. We were able to check in around 12am thankfully because when I copied the address from the app to my maps, it takes you about a 40 minute walk away from the actual location of the hotel. We made it eventually though!

Fabulous family room
We loved the hotel, we had a fabulous family room on the top floor with amazing views. Very spacious and honestly sad our stay was so short. Would pick this hotel again anytime going back to Groningen.

Very pleasant stay
Very nice and comfortable hotel, quite close to P+R, where several buses connect to all parts of the city. It has a huge car parking as well. Very clean and has an excellent breakfast buffet. I always stay here whenever I visit Groningen.

Food was very poor and I was served raw pork - manager of restaurant really wasnt bothered. Ran out of bikes- had to be pre booked in advance- wasnt aware of this.

Good location - only 3 stops on the bus to town. New clean hotel with good facilities. Had evening meal there but found breakfast too expensive so eat elsewhere.

Very good location, comfortable and clean. Staff are very helpful and very easy to go to centre of Groningen using local buses (2 minutes walk from hotel) and they come and go every 15 minutes

Great stay! The room had a good size, the bed was comfortable, water pressure in the shower was great. The restaurant had a good selection of different beers and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. To top it off, we had a lovely time in Gronigen!

My favourite Van der Valk
The hotel is excellent and much nicer than any Van der Valk I have stayed in elsewhere. The area surrounding the hotel is under some development but there are still places to go for a nice walk from the hotel. The restaurant is excellent but the service was a little too slow for me, when away on business I normally like a faster meal so I can spend more time relaxing in my room.

Lovely hotel
The hotel is only 5 months old, really lovely and large comfortable rooms. The staff were really nice and helpful. Its about 10mins outside Grongingen city centre and there is a bus stop served by multiple buses right beside the hotel. Would definately recommend.
