Staff was very helpful. But the constant deafening noise of jackhammering from 9 AM on was not expected! My head was splitting! I stayed there because there was construction at my home! I needed extra sleep. I booked two nights so I could sleep late. It was so bad I booked another hotel for the second night. I could not cancel the second night or be moved to another Hampton Inn because I booked through a third party. Katherine was very kind and gave me $25 credit for food/drinks but I couldn’t stay to use it. Property and room were very clean. In this circumstance, I think cancellation should have been allowed. I realize the situation was necessary for a plumbing problem but that’s not my fault! So I wasted a lot of money and didn’t sleep well.
