Being on Whyte Ave was exciting and convenient. Everything is within walking distance which makes shopping and dining desirable. The trendy pubs makes.the evening a fun and safe way to drink and mingle. Would highly recommend this hotel. The night life is like no other.

I enjoyed this hotel so much that I added two more nights to my stay. The staff was always attentive and helpful. Breakfast was hot and many options to choose from. I especially enjoyed being directly in Whyte Ave to explore many boutiques and vintage shops. I encourage anyone to stay. You will be pleased.

I laughed when i saw ear plugs in the room. Untill 11pm-3am. The rooms are nice. The staff and services are great. The breakfast is good. Convenient to fun things in Edmonton.

Had a really nice 2 day stay on Tuesday and Wednesday...all of the staff were really nice and helpful. My room was clean and spacious and the jets in the shower in the spa bathroom were lovely! I could hear the traffic a bit from the 5th floor but it was not loud at all, might be different on weekend nights. The valet service was excellent my car was waiting on time every time I scheduled it. My only complaints were that the room was quite bright, the blackout curtains weren't really effective on a double rod, and the other reviews I read about the AC not being great were true, I brought a small travel fan with me and was glad I did. The room wasn't unbearable but definitely could have been cooler. Overall was a pretty good stay!

I recently stayed at Metterra Hotel on Whyte and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel's location in Old Strathcona is fantastic—it's highly walkable with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The included buffet breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options. One downside was the valet service, which could take up to 45 minutes to retrieve the car, so plan accordingly if you're in a rush. Additionally, the street noise on weekend nights was quite loud, which might be a concern for light sleepers. Overall, Metterra Hotel offers a great location and good amenities, but be prepared for some noise and potential delays with the valet service.

I had a wonderful stay and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and they have one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. The Whyte Ave area is bustling and full of life, which is fun, but it becomes a double edged sword when it comes to sleeping. The Metterra takes this into consideration though and provides earplugs which were greatly appreciated.
