  • Custom Home with custom furnishings, beach chic decor and new pool. Located just steps to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean (750 ft) and a beach access to park your bike, car or golf cart. Located at 1523 Marianne St. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath house is perfect for your beach vacation. Professional designed and decorated with a coastal flair. Plenty of amenities. Relax on the spacious screen porch accessible from the living area or master bedroom. The screen porch overlooks a large backyard, pool and fire pit. Plenty of space underneath house for outdoor activities, boat and golf cart storage. Enjoy an afternoon shower in the fully enclosed outdoor shower.

    Edisto Beach is the perfect location for your next vacation. Less than 45 minutes from Historic Charleston, SC it is the perfect island getaway. Bring a boat and explore the Intercoastal Waterway or your set of clubs to play the Plantation Course.

    Sunday to Sunday rental schedule during the summer months, otherwise partial week rentals are available.

    Towels and sheet sets are currently not being provided. S&J Linen Service (843-452-6741) can provide a linen service if you would prefer to not bring your own. We have found that most parties wish to use their own linens.

    To ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests who may struggle with allergies, we unfortunately do not accept pets regardless of size, temperament or age.

Immaculate home! Beautifully decorated, has EVERYTHING you need for the perfect beach week. The private pool made our stay so much more enjoyable. It’s just a short distance to Beach Access 16. The host was so caring & replied quickly to any correspondence I had. This was the BEST home we’ve ever stayed at in our 22 years of visiting Edisto.

This is a nice place with a large common room, a large screen porch, and a wonderful pool. It’s one long block to the beach, which was not a problem for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable.

Beautiful Home and Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seabatical. The home was clean, spacious, and the owner was very friendly/responsive. We loved the pool and ended up spending more time in it than at the beach.

Private Vacation!

Very nice, clean, and a short distance from the beach. But the best part is the pool! So convenient and relaxing!! The owners are extremely nice and easy to communicate with. This was my 2nd time staying at the house and I definitely plan to return!

Paradise

Our family absolutely loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we were able to catch some rays by the beautiful pool since it was protected from the wind. The house had everything we needed and was conveniently located to shops, grocery store, and most importantly the beautiful beach and state park. Ralph was an excellent host with timely communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation

Loved the house. It is well equipped and very comfortable. The screened in porch is awesome!! The location is perfect. So close to the beach and easy to access. The pool and backyard is lovely. The proximity to the shops and restaurants on jungle road is great. Casual, friendly and good food options. We rented a golf cart for the week which was fun. The island is beautiful and we hope to go back.

Great Getaway on Edisto Island

This house was great for our family of 6. The house looks brand new, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen area is open and fully stocked with pots and silverware, the screened in deck is large and is out of the direct sun by 9am, the pool was very nice, and my mother in law kept saying how well everything was decorated. Beach access is very close by, I’d highly recommend this house to others.

Ralph is an incredible host. Ten stars. I've never worked with a host so receptive and willing to make everything right. Ralph is well-connected on the island and has a wonderfully dedicated team helping out with any issue that comes up. Rest assured you will be in great hands when you stay at Seabatical.The home is gorgeous with many thoughtful details. Our multi-generational family was very comfortable and relaxed with plenty of space to spread out. Each bedroom has a nice mattress with TV (kids loved having their own set). The pool and screened-in porch were outstanding. We definitely spent more time at the pool and hanging out on the porch than at the beach. Beach access is very easy from the home with a parking area right at the end of the block if you prefer not to walk. They even have a little wagon at the home to carry all your beach gear. Our trip was absolutely fantastic and we can't wait to return.

Reunion of college fraternity brothers

Excellent location in a quiet area of the island. Easy to get to, nice yard with pool. Back deck super to sit and talk and enjoy each other as well as the surroundings. The beach an easy one block walk, stores nearby. Rooms clean and attractive, main living area and kitchen very conducive to interaction and enjoyment. We will stay there again in the future.

Another wonderful stay

This was our 5th year staying here and first year under new ownership. The house was very clean and we loved the upgrades that the new owners have done. Ralph was very easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure we got in ok and that everything was the way it should be. A wonderful home super close to the beach. Look forward to staying here again. A great time was had with family and friends.

Amazing

The house was perfect! Pool was great for our boys, my parents enjoyed themselves thoroughly. My mom is the cook and she fell in love with the kitchen. I enjoyed book reading, lounging while boys played in pools and time spent chatting on the screened in back porch. We ate every dinner as a family on the porch and it was perfect!

The screened in porch and lovely pool were great. Good communication with owner. Providing our own linens was an inconvenience and not something we had anticipated when we booked the house although we were informed later and could make arrangements. Comfortable beds and nice floor plan with bedrooms and bathrooms. Air conditioning quiet and efficient during a hot week.

Spectacular House - it has it all!

This house is wonderful. We had a mixture of friends and adult children and the layout was perfect for everyone. You can walk (or cart) to the beach. Pool was afternoon/evening relaxation and a break from the sand and surf. Back screened in porch led to many nights of laughter, music and deer watching. We loved itso much we are rebooked for next year!!!

A change in ownership

Loved the house location and the pool. I think because of change of owners the pool area and landscape has been neglected but I am sure that will be taking care of with new owners. Now the owner now was very concerned about any issues we had and responded promptly to our needs. We would love to stay at this house again next year.
