Fabulous house in a great location for golf, John Muir Way, pubs etc

  • East Linton is a great place to stay, we are in walking distance to the shops and pubs also to the train station that can whisk you into Edinburgh in 19mins! The house is spacious yet cozy and has a large garden. An ideal spot to chill and relax but also handy for golf, walking, cycling etc. The property has 3 double bedrooms the master bedroom has an en suit bathroom, the shower room has jack & gill doors to another bedroom. The lounge is a large room with three sets of patio doors overlooking the garden and is completely private, it has a dining area and fully equipped kitchen.

We had such a lovely stay here and really enjoyed our time at the house. It was clean, comfortable and just as described, and the location was perfect for us, being roughly 20 minutes from dunglass estate where we were attending a wedding. The area was lovely and quiet, but with local shops and everything we needed nearby. One of our favourite things was the artisan bakery just around the corner - perfect for grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat in the morning. The house was really easy to get to and gave us a great base to relax and enjoy our stay. The host was friendly, prompt and very helpful with communication, which made everything nice and straightforward. We all had a really relaxed and enjoyable stay and would happily come back. Definitely a place we’d recommend to others.
