Two Bedroom Cozy House, located between Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie & Eau Claire.
This guest house is located right on the Chippewa river with beautiful frontage views, a dock for your boat, and/or to swim off, and a kayak to go exploring. There will also be a lilly pad float, paddle boat, paddle board & a couple tubes available to use. Drop your kayaks at the Chippewa River Bridge and kayak for miles.
The cabin has a charcoal grill or gas grill for your use on the patio, along with seating, and a fire pit. We have some fire starters and starter wood. (Local gas stations carry bundle wood for sale)
The interior of the house is cozy but still spacious. Please note there are multiple levels with a small step up or down in many rooms. There are two bedrooms with bed linens and one bathroom with towels provided.
Bedroom 1 has 1 - Queen & 1 Twin Bed
Bedroom 2 has 1- Full Bed
There is a washer & dryer on site and a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary, k-cup coffee. There is a smart tv in the living room & Bedroom 1 with complimentary Netflix & a few local channels. There is a desk located in bedroom 2.
Sleeping 6 is possible if somone wanted to take the couch. Message us for details. We welcome you to invite your local friends over to visit durning the day. If you’re inviting local guests over to visit, please message us on parking availability if you will be having more than 4 vechiles on site.
Sportsman’s and River Jams, 2 miles up river often have music on the weekends and some food options. Heartbreakers in the neighborhood is a great place for cocktails & food also.

Short family vacation
The river cottage was very clean and comfortable. My daughter lives in Eau Claire and she came out with a couple friends and we all had a great time on the river. There was lots to do...peddle boat, float pad, kayaks and rafts. Brought Grandma along and she loved sitting down by the river. It was a peaceful, quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful family getaway
We had the most wonderful long weekend at this cabin. Very well stocked, cozy but very functional family space. Many water toys to play with. Sarah was wonderful to work with!

Secluded river getaway
We spent two weeks at Sarah’s river house and found it to be the perfect mix of fun and practical. We had everything we needed and were close enough to groceries and other amenities to make life easy on the river. We especially appreciated the water toys and got plenty of time on the river in the pedal boat and paddle board.

Quiet retreat
Very quiet neighborhood on the river. Boat launch was just a few minutes up the road. Nice little place. Private pier. Well kept. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Very reasonably priced. Worth every penny. Sarah was very nice. Short drive into Eau Claire or Chippewa Falls. Highly recommended.

Great Family Fun
It was a fun time with family. Our stay was one month. We fished, barbecued, and had lots of camp fires. We played the giant Jenna game on the patio, a hit with young and old. “Watch your step” was our repeated phrase cuz there are steps as you move through the living space. We had no cell service until connected to wifi. Over all a nice stay, very clean space. Sarah, right next door, is a great host! She is very accommodating and friendly.
