Very nice day! Beautiful room and vineyards! The room was very clean and neat and really appreciated the Aircon. The staff were very accommodating and helped us set up a wine tasting in our room with a cheese platter.

A nice place to stay!

The room at the Senator Motor Inn was just what we needed after many days of travelling. We walked in and all you could see was the river and the marina. It was beautiful. The room was spotless and the staff were so pleasant.

Perfect place to stay.

Great location, close to downtown, the port, and numerous walking trails. Walked to restaurants and historical walk. Room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly and accommodating

The weather was awful. Torrential rains and strong winds. This motel was an excellent place to feel safe and warm. When they lost power the staff were there immediately with candles and matches. Fortunately the power was back on quickly. We loved the place and hope someday we can come back for a longer stay.

Awesome view watching a ship being loaded with NZ Radiata pine and also watching the kayaks and canoes racing. Room was clean and the service was excellent. Coffee machine on the first floor provided daily flat whites.

From the friendly greeting at reception to the clean room my stay here was excellent. I have just spent a couple of months exploring NZ and this is my favourite motel!

This motel was quiet and close to the beach. It was clean, spacious, and lots of parking

Very roomy and comfortable. Slightly retro-cool. Nice pool area.

Love this place , I have stayed there twice now and find the motel and location excellent.

I think a very nice property, but it’s not in the condition it was last time I stayed. General maintenance is not great and the central courtyard/pool could do with some attention. As could paint etc in the rooms, but very spacious rooms with lovely big balconies in an excellent location means we will be back. Also found Elaine at reception very friendly
